Cleaning Laminate Flooring?

We installed an inexpensive wood laminate flooring in our dining room, entry and kitchen (all one level). It was an inexpensive fix to a cat pee pee issue we had (which all seems fine now on that end). But I am not sure what is the best cleaner to use on it? I just want it to last as long as possible to get us thru a few years until we have our daughter settled into college and can determine if we can afford to remodel the whole level anyway, which has been our hope for many, many years!

So what works best? Something like Simple Green? or do you have other tried and true ideas?

TIA!

What can I do next?

I've only used a vacuum and a damp (not wet) mop on the laminate. It doesn't need any cleaner other than water. Too much water can cause warping, so just a damp rag or mop works fine. Our laminate is about 14 years old and still looks great, and it has had plenty of use with kids and pets over the years.

At the recommendation of previous posters on this website, I've been using a steam mop on my laminate flooring for the last couple of months. It isn't enough water to warp it or make it slippery, but is suppposed to sanitize it. I used to use the Wet Swiffer, but it made the floor sticky. The steam mop works better. I vacuum it at least every other day because I have boys and a dog.

We use a vinegar/water mix in a spray bottle and it works wonderful. The vinegar prevents streaks and its smell goes away after a little bit.

I also have nice wood laminate flooring and I vacuum it with my attachment on my vacuum meant for hardwood floors then I mop it with a Swiffer wet mop. If you want it to last, never use a real mop and bucket of water because too much water will warp it. The swiffer barely gets it wet but it does clean it well.

Warm water and a DAMP COTTON cloth only. Cleaners will strip the finish. If you HAVE to use a cleaner, use 1/4 cup of white vinegar OR lemon juice to 1 gal water.

I got a laminate floor cleaning kit, from Lowes. It has worked very well for us and we use it on our tile, also. There doesn't appear to be any nasty chemicals, in the cleaner. There is not strong smell and it cleans VERY well. The cleaning pads wash nicely in the washing machine. We have no regrets and it comes highly recommended!!
