I bought a magic eraser mop and scrubbed the tile with this and they look brand new!!!
Does anyone know of an easy way to clean tile grout on ceramic floor besides hands and knees with brush, or professional cleaning? I currently clean my kitchen and bathroom floors with a steamer which does a great job, although the grout is not looking good after a few years. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What type of steamer do you all use. I have done 3 rooms of grout cleaning on hands and knees. I would be happy to buy a good steamer, just didn't know that it would work until I read your posts.
Yes make sure that your grout is sealed. Spend the money and get the good stuff from tile lab... but you have to be very careful what chemicals you use to clean with once they are sealed.
I saw on TV that after a few years the grout is stained. They put grout on again and it looked like new.
After you clean it next time, you may want to try sealing it. We have ours sealed every couple of years. It prevents the water from your steamer from penetrating the grout, which probably makes it expand and contract...then crack, etc.. You can buy the sealer yourself at Lowe's or Home Depot. You apply it with a pain roller if I remember correctly. HTH!
I have heard about this wonderful thing called the Rubba Scrubber (I think?). It's available from www.flylady.com, and you'd probably still have to get on your hands and knees, but I hear it's fabulous. Right now I am a little too pregnant to be getting down there, but I just ordered one yesterday. I can let you know how it works, but it was pretty reasonable, $4.99.
I just found out the the little round brushes that came with my industrial steamer work GREAT for getting into the grooves of the grout. Unfortunately I found this out AFTER I scraped out half of the grout in my bathroom!

We have a slate entry with grout that looked awful!! A friend in the business gave me profession liquid that didn't even work. Trying anything, we sprayed the grout with "Scrubbing Bubbles" bathroom cleaner. It worked better than anything, and I didn't even have to scrub. Seriously!!! Spray it on, leave for 15-20 min (maybe longer if bad) and wipe it up. I use it on my bathroom floor now, just like in the tub. Amazing.
I cleaned the grout in my kitchen when we first moved into our house, which is about 20-yrs old. This was about 3 years ago. I did use the grout cleaner, on my hands and knees with a scrub brush wearing rubber gloves, sometimes had to make it stronger than recommended because it seemed like it wasn't ever cleaned in it's 20 years. It turned out really good. Now, do you know that once you get it clean that you need to re-seal your grout? Otherwise the dirt and grime will just find it's way into the pores of the grout. I sealed mine when I was done (3 years ago) and it still looks just as good as when I cleaned it. I saw that steam cleaner on tv and thought I'd liked to have used that when I was doing the grout cleaning.
