I was wondering if anybody knew of any good classes my husband can take out 17mth old to on teh weekends. i was thinking either a music class or preferable a gymnastics type class. They used to go to Gymboree, but it is now closed. Thanks!

I take my daughter to Oakland Gymnastics in Commerce. They have Saturday classes. I can't remember the cross street but it is off of Maple Rd. They also have a website. Check it out.

I just signed my son up for a gymboree type class through the South Lyon Rec that is at the Total Soccer complex in Novi. They have classes for all ages and I have heard great things about it.
Lakeland and Milford high schools have parent / child swim classes for this age. Also check out www.huronvalley.k12.mi.us under the community education seciton - they have lots of tot classes.

How about to the zero depth pool at Lakeland high school? I'm not sure they have classes on the weekend but the pool is a great way to use up energy.
