There is a great church in Oakbrook called Oakbrook Community Church. It is on the corner of 31st and Midwest road. They have quite a few people from Lombard attending. They have Sunday services at 8:30 and 10:30 (With donuts and coffee at 10am for fellowship in between the services. They also offer a mid-week service At 5:45 they offer a dinner for a nomimal fee and then service starts at 7pm
They have a very committed childrens program.

Hello! How long have you been here? Have you ever heard of Intercessors of the Lamb? (What a beautiful charismatic group!) St. Alexanders and Sacred Heart have committed people in Villa Park and Lombard.

We live in Westmont, and there is a community that meets called the Brothers and Sisters of Charity Domestic (based off of John Michael Talbot's community in Arkansas). (Most people have heard of his music.) On Tuesday nights, we praise, pray evening prayer, have a teaching, and share life's journey/ offer encouragement to each other. The night's rotate from all/men's/all/women's/family, and it is not a Church. Simply a community trying to live the Gospel in today's world called to Charity, balance and Jesus.

Tomorrow, we are meeting at Holy Trinity Chuch in Westmont for Eucharistic Adoration (more comtemplative prayer). Throughout July, the meetings were praise and worship (the beautiful thing about trying to find a good balance!)

Glen Arbor church in West Chicago is a very nice and casual church. It is Non denomenational Christian. You can dress as dressy or undressy as you want.

I've been attending Southminster Presbyterian Church for almost 7 years now. We are a small community that pulls together and enjoys coming together throughout the week. My kids love going too. We are right off of Park and Butterfield in Glen Ellyn. Our services are at 9:30 on Sunday.

Harvest Bible Chapel....Pastor James is AMAZING!!! He is on WMBI everyday at 1:00pm. You should check it out here is a link to the website for the church...they also have sister churches in other areas!!

I went just once and I was hooked for 8 years now! They have a lot to offer everyone. At least check it out.

Glen Ellyn Bible Church is an amazing church that is welcoming to all! We have been attending for almost 4 years and really feel like we have found a home. The children's programing is great and the worship and teaching are wonderful and biblically sound. It is located at Main and Hillside (I think). It's right in downtown Glen Ellyn.

We attend Berean Bible students Church in Lombard. My husband has been attending this church at least for 32 years nd we have been atteding for 2 now as a family. The address is 535 Maple Ave. I think you will like it!
