Have you tried fox urine? You can buy it bottled. Stinks! I do like the idea of just letting your dog hang out in the yard.
Okay, so this really has nothing to do with kids, but I need help! I have about 20 chipmunks that have decided to build an underground city in my garden. I have tunnels everywhere and it is ruining my flowers! I have tried flooding the holes with water, packing them with human hair, dumping an entire box of moth balls in them, filling them back up with dirt and also putting insect killer in there; nothing has worked!! I have a small dog, so I need to be careful what I do that I don't hurt my dog. I can keep her away from the garden for a day or two if I need to though. So any suggestions would be great! Oh and I don't want to use a live trap becuase I have no where to release them...I live in the city. Thanks!

The critters are so cute, but they are pests if they burrow where they don't belong. You can try dumping red pepper down their burrows but if they are putting up with the moth balls, it might not work. What is their food source? If you can figure out what they are eating, and you can eliminate it, they will have to move out.
might be a silly suggestion, but if you have a small dog why don't you let her hang out in the yard all day? see if they like living with a dog! might chase them away!
Chyanne Pepper. The stuff you put on pizza. You can try that but I would keep the dog away, as it could effect her paws. but She might also stay away because of them as well.
