I have 2 Boulevards, they are definitely the best! No rethreading straps, plus the awesome side wings protection!
Best one out there :)
I have a 9 month old and are shopping for a convertible car seat. If you have a Britax, what kind do you have? Do you have the Marathon, Advocate, Roundabout, or Boulevard? Do you like it? Would you buy it again?
We decided to go with the Boulevard car seat. I researched and researched and decided it that would be best for us. After getting a 10% discount for opening a BRU account and having a 15% coupon we could use on both seats, it knocked the price way down! Hopefully he loves the seats. We are going to install them this weekend!

I have the Marathon. I LOVE the LATCH system on this seat. Britax has made a seat that can be installed by the Mom....FINALLY! After much struggle for years with the other seats, I would never get anything other than a Britax (now that I am done having kids....great timing!). The ease in my installing and removing it is worth the extra $$ alone. The safety ratings are great, my child is comfortable, and I have no complaints whatsoever. Good luck!
Sorry for the late response! I have both the Britax Roundabout and Marathon. I love them both!! The marathon is bigger which I feel my son will not outgrow length wise as much as he would the roundabout. I guess it depends on the size of your car too. The roundabout is better for smaller cars. Hope this helps :)
i have a marathon for my daughter and we are expecing #2 in september and already purchased one for him. i love it. it's so easy to get in and out of and to move it to another vehicle if you have to. hope this helps!!!
We have the Britax Marathon in my car and it is our favorite car seat by far (we have an Evenflo and a Graco in backup cars). I was able to get it on sale but with the heigh weight limit, it was well worth the cost.
I have the Boulevard and love it!! I switched my dughter at 9 months. It is on the smaller side, so perfect if you have a car. It only goes up to 40 lbs, but my dughter is on the lighter side, so I'm thinking it will still last awhile.
We have a diplomat and love it! It is easy to take apart and wash. Our lo (she's 2) nods off in it frequently...so I assume she's pretty comfy too.
My only caution is that if you drive a smaller car it may not fit well. We had a ford focus loaner car for a week and it barely fit in the backseat...and we couldn't get it strapped in backwards at all. In our normal vehicle, it takes up the majority of the backseat but 2 people can squeeze into next to it.
Good luck!
Marathon...love, love, love it! We have 2 of them and started using it when my son was about 8 months old, he is now 3.5 years old and it is still going strong! I have had it in many cars and SUV's and it latches in so easy and also I find that it is way more secure than a few different car seats that my sister uses for her kids. I definitely feel that it was worth the money spent on them and would absolutely do it again =)
I bought a Britax Boulevard CS carseat on Diapers.com last winter and just purchased a second one last week for my little man. Wonderful! It is so plsh and soft, has some very clever features, and installs effortlessly in both of our vehicles. Only "drawback" we've found is that with the side-impact wings he can't see out the windows without leaning way forward . . . . he always loved to see outside. I decided the extra protection was more important though. He has found other ways to pass the time! Hope this helps.
We have the Roundabout. I LOVE Britax, by far the easiest carseat to install! We easily move it from car to car. The only thing is that I wish I had bought the Britax seat that holds up to 60 lbs. The roundabout I think is only 40. Get the one that lasts longer. Ours are at 40 lbs now and we will have to switch, and I just don't think a plain old booster seat is a safe.

Britax seats are the best on the market, especially when it comes to crash tests. We had two Britax Roundabouts and two Britax Wizards (now called Boulevard) for our children. The great thing about the Wizard (Boulevard) is that is can hold a child up to 65lbs. I love that you can adjust the shoulder strap height without removing the seat from the car and also can adjust how tight it is easily really comes in handy when they're in a heavy coat or clothing.
Another great thing is the Versa Tether as it provides additional stability and keeps the seat from moving...at all. I have found these seats very easy to install and would recommend them to any parent.
I have one that I'm going to be selling at a mom2mom sale this fall. If it's something you're interested in seeing just contact me.
Good luck and hang in there!

We have a Britax Marathon and we absolutely LOVE it. Yes, we'd buy it again. Getting ready to buy the next one up for our now 2 1/2-year-old. LOVE BRITAX!
We were fond of our Roundabout and I would buy it again! Good luck and God Bless!
Hello - We have the Marathan and LOVE it! Would strongly recommend. We have one for each of our cars as my husband does drop off and I do pickup. As my son is soon turning 4 we are contemplating moving to booster seats...at least my husband is...I still love the way my son fits into the seat even at that age - almost like he's in an oversized highback chair - so I feel better about the protection it still offers (and seems comfy with the denim material that I haev). It is good up to 65 pounds...so it will be the last car seat you need to buy. Hope this helps! - T.
I have the Britax Marathon & love it! It is easy to install and remove, very user-friendly. I love the anti-twist straps and that you can adjust the shoulder straps from the front. It's very sturdy and when rear-facing has a strap that you can anchor to the floor which makes it super secure. It's pricey in comparison to the other names brands such as Evenflow or Graco but it has been well worth the money. Hope this helps.
I have a Roundabout and love it! I honestly don't think you can go wrong with anything Britax! Just see what best suits your personal requirements and what you can get the best deal on.
We got the marathon. My daugther has been measuring tall since birth (born at 85%, still between 50-75), so we figured get one that is a little taller if we are going to shell out that much $$ anyway. She is 17 months and 23 lbs now but we still have her rear facing because the new guidelines say it is safer. We bought one to start b/c we weren't sure if it would be too big for my car (I have a Honda Accord) but it fit fine. It is also really easy to snap in using the latch system.

I own two Britax RoundAbouts for my 21mos and 3yr old and would definitely purchase them again!
hello. while i don't have a britax carseat i do have the my ride 65 by graco and LOVE IT!! it is 5-40lbs rear facing and 20-65lbs forward facing. my 2 yr old does just fine being rear facing agian. its roomy and i love the cup holders. plus its cheaper than the britax carseats. its easy to put in with the latch. when its time to go forward facing i don't have to re do the latch system since this seat has two latch system to it! very very easy to understand directions also. i put my 4 yr old son in it to see if he would fit and he would almost too tall for it but would still be safe in it to where i still could buckle him in. good luck with your choice
car seats... the hardest kid decision...
I have 2 britax roundabouts.. they are great comfy and cozy.. easy to install easy to strap kids in ... a great seat...however they have a maximum height and weight of 40 inches 40 pounds so my kids will grow out of them this year... probably about age 4... so they need a new seat..
we just bought a graco nautilus. it is a good seat and it has a maximum weight of 65 pounds with a 5 point harness. then it can be used as a booster seat with the car seat belt until 100 pounds..
So.... if you choose carefully you can buy a car seat that will last until your child does not need a car seat anymore... so that would be my recommendation.
In michigan kids need to be in a a car seat until age 8 or 80 pounds so pick well and this will be that last seat you have to buy.
the britax seats such ast the marathon are very heavy adn big.. they take up a lot of room in the back seat... we have 2 kids and sometime they want me to sit in the backseat with them... so smaller seats are better for us..
LOVE the Britax Marathon! We have one for each of our sons in our "main" vehicle, and use a Graco Nautilus (sp?) & Eddie Bauer in other cars. The GN doesn't rear face though - so it can't be used until your baby is at least a year +. Hands down, love the Britax the best. They're SO easy to transfer, take apart for cleaning, and seem really comfy for our boys. Not to mention the safety ratings Britax gets! Well worth the investment. Check out www.albeebaby.com and www.babycheapskate.com for deals on these seats - sometimes they go up to 20% off. I also found one of ours at Babies R Us in the "clearance" part, because it had no box, and it cost $209 (they usually retail for $280). Regardless, I'd pay that much again in a heartbeat.
Good luck.
I have a Britax Roundabout and I would buy it again. It's worth the investment and roomy for a growing toddler.

We have a marathon and love it. Would definately buy another one.
