Nope. Way too harsh and could strip the finish. I would use liquid dish soap in a very small amount.
Stupid question, I know. I am all geared up and ready to wash my car, and realized that my husband must have taken all the car washing stuff with him when he moved out. [eye roll]...
I really don't want to go to the store, I DO have Mr. Clean... is that going to mess up my car? Or do you think it's okay?

My dad always used dish washing detergent and it never seemed to mess up his cars.
Noooo! Fill a bucket up with warm water and dish soap. Makes my baby pretty. :)
You can use some dish soap and water (regular dish soap not for the dish washer). It works just as well and will not be as harsh as Mr. Clean.
I've used all kinds of stuff to wash my van.I even used a magic eraser to wash it one time. worked beautifully and wash surprisingly fast. Normal dish soap works just fine on it.
No, don't use Mr. Clean! We use water with a little baby shampoo, and vinegar for the windows. If you use dish soap, only use a little bit, and make sure you rinse it off really well. Good day to wash!
I would be careful, I think it may mess with your paint on your car.
No, I would not do that.
Most of the time I just hose my van off and use wndow washer on the windows lol.. But i would think any mild cleaner would work
Be careful with dish soap too as most of them have some sort of grease cutter in it. That will take the wax right off.
