The pill, as most birth control methods is not 100% effective. Yes, you can conceive without having a period. I would take a home pregnancy test if you are concerned. If you are pregnant you need to stop taking the birth control immediately.

M., it took me 2 months after I got off birth control to start having periods again. If you think you might be pregnant, buy a test at a pharmacy and check.

I hadn't had a period in over 15 years and conceived 4 times. So yes.

I don't have a period and doctors have even said that I don't ovulate but I've been pregnant four times, and have three very healthy children.

To answer your Q, yes, you absolutely CAN conceive without having a period.

You could be pregnant, but the pill did the same thing to me 7 years ago when I first got married. I wasn't pregnant, it just stopped my body from it's cycles so I didn't have my periods either. I don't really think it's that good for your body. Talk to your doctor about it!

I am a nurse, and from a medical standpoint, I would suggest going and getting a check-up from your Doctor, you may be pregnant, or you may need a different birth control. If you are pregnant you need to stop the pill. Good luck!

Yes, you can...as others have already stated it might just be a side effect of the pill. The pill is less effective when taking antiboitics, so keep that in mind.

I would take a pregnancy test to confirm you are not currently pregnant, but my girlfriend's periods stopped when she was on the pill for a number of years, so it could be the pill. We were initially concerned that she was not having any period for such an extended period of time, but she had no trouble getting pregnant and has 2 beautiful children today (of course, once she went off the pill).

I would consult with your doctor though to ease your concern.

Well, I was on the pill for ten years and had sparadic periods during. Last year I went two months with no periods, had a small itty bitty one, (like 1 hour) and bada boom, three more missed periods and I discovered I was 6-8 weeks pregnant not knowing when I actually conceived since everything was always out of whack. So my personal opinion, is yes.

I would definetly get checked out. I myself have not had a period in three months now and I'm not on the pill and not pregnant. But, that's mostly from everything going back to normal from having a baby.
