Motorcylcle boots are not supposed to be fitted to the calf. That being said a manmade fabric is near to impossible to adjust. Leather being a skin can be cut, stitched and stretched not so for faux leather. Sorry
I got this awesome pair of black faux leather motorcycle boots for Christmas (thanks mom!) but apparently I have freakishly tiny calves :/ We took them back to the store and found out that they are the standard for all at-knee boots. I tried on dozens of pairs from different brands (we even went to other stores), and there are no boots in existance for the motorcycle style that come any smaller. BOO!! I just can't bring myself to give these up though!! Think I can go to a leathersmith or shoe-repair place and have them 'taken in'? Has anyone ever had something like that done before? Thanks ladies!

Motor cycle boots are made bigger so that the pants bottom can slip inside to protect them from grime and wear and tear from hanging in the wind.
Things can be taken in MUCH easier than let out. Although it can cost more than the boots themselves, and can (with alteration cost) cost more than spending $200-300 and getting a lowrange/midrange custom pair. (custom varies a great deal by location and use... I can get a custom pair of fashion boots made for me in Rome in 3 days for 80euro, or riding boots in the US for $300, or Polo boots (anywhere in the world, essentially) for about $800
I have to get any boots custom made... since my inseam is 37". <rueful grin> There's no way to let out 6" in height, although (icky) standard calves can be gussetted... it kills the line.
try leg warmers-I got a pair of black cable knit leg warmers for Xmas from a company called Bare Necessities.
If you are talking about a more traditional motorcycle boot they are not meant to be really close fitting I don't think. Take a look at this pic:
