Good ol' Vitamin E. Keep it out of the sun and/or tanning bed. I've had 2 babies via c-section and really the only thing you can do is lighten it but it will never go away. We get to have a great reminder of our little gifts even when we bathe!
Hello Ladies,
I have two great kiddos who both came into the world via c-section. So needless to say I have a pretty wicked scar. Does anyone have any advice on what to do to make it less obvious, it has been two years now, and I don't think it is getting any better on it's own.
Thanks!!!!

I also had a c-section and my scar looks pretty good. My daughter is 2 1/2. You can still see a line, though, so the only thing my doctor told me that would help diminish it is something called Mederma. You buy it at the drugstore or pharmacy. It is a cream. There are also these gel band-aids that a friend of mine used after her tummy tuck to diminish the scar but I believe they were either prescription or something she ordered off the internet.
Hope this helps!

I had both of my babies c-section, did they give you a bikini cut or up and down? Mine is pretty well hidden so it really hasen't been an issue for me, but other then medurma or something like that I don't think there is much you can do. I am sorry if thats not much help but it might work. Good luck :)
I don't have an answer to that, but I can't wait to see the answers. Mine got infected, so it looks disgusting!
MEDERMA! I love the stuff! My family swears by it after my dad's skin cancer surgery. I've used it on all sorts of scars and it really does the trick. Warning though, it does stink! I even used it on my son and although he still has a tiny line, it's only really visible in certain lighting.
I used Curad before and it didn't seem to work for me.
My doctor told me to buy a box of the Curad Scar therapy http://www.curadusa.com/scar_therapy/scar_main.asp. I cut the square in half and began using them after my 6 week check up. You can hardly see my scar. My friend and I compared scars and hers looks so different b/c she didn't treat it at all. I know no one but my husband will see it but I'm glad I used the product. I definitely will again after my nexy baby.
Good luck!!
