Here we have 3 Ketchup (FREAKS!), and two Mustard, me and my oldest son (the NORMAL people). Least now you know where you stand with ME! Humph!
Tehehe, Tracy, I meant the HOT DOGS are bad for you! Sorry, didn't mean to freak you out! :)

Ketchup for me, and my daughers. My oldest son can't stand anything on them. Troy is a ketchup and mustard kinda guy and my younger son is ketchup relish.
Every time someone tries to tell me what is in a hot dog I stick my fingers in my ears and sing lalalalalalalalalalalala until I annoy them enough that they shut up. Really does anyone on earth not know they are bad for us, it is just they are yummy.

I am not aware that condiments are bad for you. Please don't rock my world.
I know - I was joking. My version of lalalalallalalalalalalalalla - ignorance is bliss. Hebrew National Kosher Dogs aren't so bad. My favorite are footlong stadium dogs at Texas Rangers Ballpark. Don't know what's in em, and don't care. They are deleriously good with a cold beer.

ME: Ketchup
3YO: Ketchup
HUSBAND: brown mustard with jalepeno slices (like the kind you get on nachos).
OR -- we all 3 just do chili dogs (Wolf-brand with beans, shredded cheddar on top)
Oh and we LOVE Hebrew National hot dogs. Those really don't need anything. They're good on their own.

Oh you just had to open this one up didn't you?
I haven't read through all the responses so if I repeat, I apologize.
Both are fine on the hot dog but that's it. Personally, I put ketchup on it and that's it. My husband, on the other hand, thinks I'm a heathen for putting ketchup on the hot dog.
Why? Because people in Chicago have lost their damn MINDS when it comes to hot dogs. Ever eaten a traditional Chicago hot dog? It has mustard, onion, relish, sport peppers, tomato wedge, dill pickle spear, and celery salt, all served on a poppy seed bun. As others have mentioned, ketchup on a hot dog is a sin and will get you exiled!
Uh, what?!? That's not a hot dog; that's nearly a salad!

When we backyard bbq then i tend to eat one with mustard...then one with ketchup. Yep...I splurge and have two...cuz I like the experience of both condiments...just not at the same time..hee..heee!

I am from Chicago, ketchup on a hot dog is one of the seven deadly sins, I am pretty sure.
I put onions and relish and sometimes chili. Spicy brown mustard, and sauertkraut if available.
We are having dogs and brats tonight.

I don't eat hot dogs that often, but I am craving them now after reading these responses! I would put mustard and ketchup on a hot dog, but may have to try the kraut, cheese and onions that others mentioned! Yum!
I love ketchup on most meat, even steak sometimes which is a huge faux pas in France (according to my high school French teacher !)
I used to wait tables in a 50's style hamburger place during my college years. People would always order mustard, pickle and onion on their hamburgers. I couldn't understand why it was so popular especially without ketchup. It was pretty good though! LOL

Both. But very little. I usually put a very thin line of ketchup on half the roll and a thin line of mustard on the other half of the roll. My 5 kids like ketchup but no mustard. Hubby likes both but wants much more then I do, he also likes relish.
Hubby and I like sauerkraut on ours once in a while also with just a little mustard (no ketchup).
