Hi, I am looking for blank build a bear shirts to embroider. I found some on the internet very cheap but the shipping is outrageous. Any ideas about where to find them locally? The Build a Bear stores do not have blanks.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Go to Michael's - they'll have them there and they are very reasonably priced!

Hi D.,
I am a workshop leader for Noah's Ark Workshop and we have the little t-shirts that you are talking about BUT they have a little Noah's Ark emblem on the little sleeve. The front and the back are blank, though, if that helps.

Have you tried Dolly's World on the internet? http://www.adollysworld.com/

You can periodically find them at The Dollar Tree, call ahead to see if they have them first.

Also, I've seen them at Micheal's and JoAnn Fabrics..plus those stores have 40% off coupons!

If you have a sewing machine, those type of shirts would be a snap to sew together also.

If you have one of the shirts, you can de-construct it and use it for a pattern to make as many as you want.

It should take a minimum of sewing skills and time to whip up a batch of the blanks to do your embroider. They'll also be dirt cheap. I'd estimate you could probably get 8 out of a yard of 44"/45" fabric.

I am not familiar with Build a Bear but would Wal-mart/Target have tee shirts that could be suitable for your request?
