I want to buy a bubble lawn mower for my toddler son. I read online reviews about Fisher-Price and some people say the bubbles do not come out. Does anyone own one? Thanks.

What can I do next?

Cute IDEA but they usually don't work and they drip like crazy.

My son forgot it even "made" bubbles but he likes the lawn mower aspect of it.

We have two. My kids love them. We have noticed that some bubble brands don't work as well as others. Miracle Bubbles...it comes in a gallon jug at Walmart and Target works really well.

We have one, and it works just fine. You just have to go a certain speed, and it can't be too bumpy (ie: gravel, uneven dirt/grass, etc). My kids LOVE it regardless of the bubbles! HOURS of fun outside :)

My nephew has one, although now that I think about it, the bubble part doesnt work very well. They still play with it though, without the bubbles. My 2 y/o cant keep his hands off of it when we go to their house.

yeah... my son got one for his birthday when he was 2. So, almost 11 years ago... it never put out many bubbles..... So few in fact, that he was bored with it and after the first couple of pushes, never bothered with trying to get bubbles out of it again. He did enjoy "mowing" inside sometimes... hahah

It only worked for US when it was completely level and we basically ran with it! It never put out bubbles for our 2 yr old.

I have the pink Fisher-Price for my daughters and it works just fine and they play with it everytime they walk outside whether it has soap in it or not.

It didn't work for my son when he was very young because he couldn't push it fast enough. Now that he's three years old and can push it faster, it makes bubbles. But the mom who mentioned the mess is right--it does drip like crazy! My son likes it now that it makes bubbles, but he wasn't too interested before, when he couldn't get the bubbles to work.

it only works at a full spped run - otherwise it just leaks bubbles and makes a mess. However - my son and his friends loved just pushing it around at around 2 years old.
