My husband loves brownies. My daughter and I would like to make him some home-made brownies for Valentine's Day. Does anyone have a good recipe?

What can I do next?

Hmm....That link is for a microwaved version. Not too sure about that.

Try this:

And then just sprinkle some chocolate chips on top before baking. :)

I made some from a box a few weeks ago, but "doctored" them. I spread chocolate frosting (from a can) on top and then sprinkled chopped up Reese's cups across the top. It was for an unplanned guest's birthday... The kids all loved them... and so did the adults that had a few. Easy Peasy.

You could even use a heart shaped cookie cutter to make them heart shapes.

To any box mix you may add up to 1 cup of extra ingredients: chocolate chips, mint chips, peanut butter chips, white chocolate, marshmellows, raisens, pecans or walnuts, marrichino cherries, any type of candy bar crushed. You may also add one extra egg for a more cake like brownie. For frosting heat 1/2 cup whipping cream with 1Tablespoon of clear Karo syrup. When almost simmering (hot) add 3/4 cup chocolate chips (or mint , peanut butterchips) take off heat and stir till melted. Pour over brownies and cool in Fridge. The kids love to help add the goodies.
