I was just curious if you knew your baby was breech if after delivery every doctor knew they were breech based off their leg presentation? I was looking through some pictures of my 2nd son right after delivery and I suddenly remember how for the first 2.5 weeks of his life every doctor, nurse, even my chiropractor asked if he was breech. I was like uh "no", why do you ask--apparently he had his legs all scrunched up towards his chest, and they say that its usually only a presentation or position breech babies have after birth.
Me, personally I never heard of it, today for some reason I thought I'd google and look at some images and sure enough all the babies born breech looked exactly like he did--- legs up and scrunched to their chest. Makes me kind of wonder if he was breech for some time and we just never knew. But I would have known at some point right? Just kind of curious I guess......

My oldest breached while I was in labor and cause of the 24 hours she was her hips were out of socket and she had to wear hip braces for a few months
Our first was breech from at least 28 weeks until her birth by c-section. I had contractions at 28 weeks that were really intense so they did an ultrasound and they were surprised she was breech ...... her legs were up by her ears. She was literally folded in half. When she was born the nurses were giggling and couldn't stop laughing about her legs. They were trying to measure her length and her legs just wouldn't stay down. They would try to gently push them down and they would pop back up to her ears. Honestly, she looked deformed. It was a bit scary. After about 4 days, it got better and now she is 8 and is in gymnastics, dance, etc. Flexible as ever!
My daughter was breach until a week before she was born. I dont remember anything different about her legs. But I think she was trying for footling breach, not buttocks first, so her legs werent pressed up to her chest before she was born. That might have made a difference. I know the Dr at one point before she turned refered to her as "Just standing in there"..
What is really noticable at first glance is how the breech baby's head isn't pressed or mashed. She/he looks picture perfect no blemishes around the eyes.
