Getting a drop or two even three years after weaning is normal, but the green color may not be. If you have any other symptoms at all, a call to the doctor is in order.
**gross warning**
i have not breast fed in 3 years, but i occasionally still get the feeling of a "let down"
well today i decided to give it a squeeze our of curiosity and some green droplets expressed from my nipples.
my insurance sucks, so i dont want to go to the doc if i dont have to.
has anyone else heard of this?

Abnormal discharge is worthy of a check-up. Call your doctor. Your insurance, as bad as it is, should cover preventive care as well as an annual mammogram with no co-pay for you. Call and discuss please.
If you've got green goo coming out of your nipples, go see a doctor.
If you have not breast fed in three years and you have a let down feeling and green discharge I would contact my doctor regardless of the insurance. It is better to be safe than sorry.
No one is going to protect your health for you but you. Get an appointment and report back to us. We just had a post about a daughter who is distraught over her mother having a fever in a breast. It is easier to be proactive than reactive.

I just visited a breast specialist for a few things....he told me that blood is not a good sign, but other discharge is *usually benign*. However, there is no way I would not get a checkup for this....better safe than sorry.
You could always CALL your GYN. Phone calls are free!
I had a friend who didn't have insurance because her husband had lost his job. They were waiting for his new job's insurance to kick in. Her stomach had been hurting for a month.
The week before the insurance kicked in, she died in her sleep from a stomach anurism. My 47 year old friend died because she didn't want to spend the money to go to the doctor.
Go to your gyn and get this checked out. Even if your insurance sucks, at least you have some.
there is no way i wouldn't go to the doctor for this.

This might help. I'd visit the doctor.
Definitely make an appointment at your local community health clinic.
