Boy Clothes for Sale

Does anyone know of a good consignment store near Algonquin all the way down to Batavia? I saved all of my little boy stuff, and there is ALOT, for my second child that is going to be a girl. I hate to just throw it out. Most of it only used once or twice and mostly name brand stuff. (Gymboree, Gap, Polo, Tommy Hilfiger, etc.) OR if anyone is in need the sizes run from newborn to 1 years old. Thanks.

What can I do next?

You can also donate them to Amvets or NCCS (Children's Cancer Society). They come to your house and leave a receipt so you can use the donations as a tax write off.

Hi C.,

I live in Crystal Lake and the only resale store I have used in the past is Once Upon A Child near Spring Hill Mall. They prefer name brands and give you a check within a day or two along with your "no's". Another way to get rid of them is through freecycle.org. A few pregnant moms in my moms group are swapping all their baby clothes.

Good luck
C.

There is a place called Once Upon A Child in St Charles near the mall...it's easy to look up online. I have not used it yet, but know people who have been to their locations in other states that seem to enjoy it. They buy and sell used kids clothing and all kinds of other furniture and necessities. Good luck!
