Hi parents,
Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced electric bottle sterilizer for our vacation.
I usually wash everything with hot soapy water but don't trust water quality elsewhere hence sterilizer comes to mind.
Any advice would be appreciated.

What can I do next?

My daughter has a microwave sterilizer. It is made by Avent and you can put about 4 bottles in it along with 7 oz of water and let the microwave run for 7 minutes. She puts the breast pump parts in there and also the bottles.

What about just washing then them boiling it? You could even boil bottled water if you are that worried about it. Just another idea! You could also get those Medela bags that you can put into the microwave to clean pump parts and bottles (but they only hold 2 four ounce botttles) but can be used 20 times.

Unless you are in the backwoods, I think washinng bottles will be fine.

I second the microwave bags if you will have access to a microwave. They are sooo convenient.

I have an Avent microwave sterilizer that I love. It isn't electric, but it does the same thing. You might look into it.
