THE BODYWRAP SHOP: I fell for the hype of a Power Wrap several months ago. It was the biggest rip-off and waste of time I've yet to experience. Yes, I did meet the minimum required inches lost -- 11 to be exact. But, funny enough, that's was just barely over the number guaranteed to loose or your next wrap is free. I felt no different other than VERY damp! I saw absolutely no difference in any of my clothing or body. I feel "taken" by my own stupidity and want to warn others. I did not have my session at the Dallas location; but, the Allen one. However, they assured me their services were the same at all locations. If you do continue with this service, just beware!

Hi S., there are different types of body wraps out there... there are some that are more like a spa treatment where they wrap you up and you lie in your cocoon with music and is supposed to be very relaxing. If that's the type your asking about I'm afraid I'm no help. I can tell you that I went to The Body Wrap Shop once after my baby was born and I also thought it was a waste of time and money. Maybe going for a package is better as suggested below.

Let me also say I found the whole process quite revolting. They wrap you like a mummy then put your feet and hands in plastic bags. You get on the Gazelle as mentioned, then, as your body gives off water, the bags on your hands and feet fill up with the water. I thought it was pretty gross to be up on that machine with water swishing around my feet and hands and dripping off my nose. Good luck to you!

Waste of money.....I went and had one done with a friend. It said I lost like 13 inches total. But...they measure you in so many places, like 4 times on your arm, 4 times on your leg, and are not exactly right on, when they remeasure you after being wrapped. My friend and I did not care for it, and will never do it again...but there were people in there, that had done it before, and were back again...so I guess some people like it?! GL!!

I disagree. I was happy with results. I lost 13i/2 inches, yes overall my whole body. But during the wrapping procees ask them to concentrate on your "worst" places and they will. I bought a 5 wrap packge and lost a dress size by the time to was done. I did them over a few months time to prepare for my sons wedding. It also depends on your size and I think that "bigger" lose more. I went to Body wrap shop of Texas in the Knox/Henderson area. After wrapped you walk on a Gazzelle type machine while you wait for an hour. I have bad knees and the machine didn't hurt at all. I think the results are gauranteed or your money back. Good Luck.
