Susan,
I myself have a few blood disorders and we debated the whole pregnancy thing for a while. I was labeled as a high risk pregnancy and was monitored every week, twice a week, to make sure that my levels, and the baby were ok. There is nothing that says with a blood disorder tat you should not have a child, but it is your decision if you want to take the chance at passing that DNA along. My daughter has actually been diagnosed with one of my blood disorders and due to that we are not going to have anymore. I do not feel it is fair to have a child that will spend time in a hospital rather than outside playing.
It is truly your call on the child though. Let your heart and mind come to an agreement. It was a very hard call for me since I wanted another, but now know it is not meant to be.
Good luck to you and your husband!
