Hello,

My name is K. and my daughter and I recently moved back to the Boise area. My daughter is turning 3 in a couple weeks and I'm trying to find ideas as to what we should do and where we should go for her birthday. I would like to go somewhere kid friendly but not too chaotic. Any ideas? Thanks for your time.

What can I do next?

One of the best birthday parties we've had is at the Boise zoo. There was a clown that escorted the kids through the zoo. This was several years ago, so I don't remember all the planning details, but you might call the zoo and see what they offer.

Hi,
There is always Chuck E Cheese on Fairview Ave. But there is also a place called PoJos on Fairview Ave. It is bigger and has a Carousel as well as other small rides, and food other than pizza. My kids love it. Also Zoo Boise has a party area and a playground.

Welcome to Boise,

There is: These are good places for her age.
Build a Bear workshop at the mall that does birthday parties from $10-20 per child, kinda pricey.
Also Micheals craft store on Franklin and Maple grove do great craft parties for all ages, very reasonable on prices and they have a great room for this, you bring the cake and they supply all the fun and the mess stays there..great fun!
Monkey dooz is a salon that caters to little girls and does birthday parties with a spa theme, never been, but here it is fun for girls.
Artist for a day, does ceramic parties for kids of all ages. fun time, and the kids get a great project to take home.
Magic Tumble bus is a bus that comes and has lots of fun tumble activities inside the bus for those young 3 year olds, kinda different and neat, the kids think it is neat that the bus comes to them.

And always: McDonalds, Chucky cheese, pojos, Discovery center, Carls Jr., Burger king, Idaho ice world, roaring springs, Boondocks for put put and go-carts, Lots of local clowns and magic men. lots of inflatables. YMCA, bowling.

Have fun, and enjoy!

I would suggest the Wings Center (big super cool play area with sliding, rock climbing, lots of laughing with party instructor, and they make the b-day girl feel really special. They have age appropriate areas). My daughter has been to several places and that is her favorite. She wants her next birthday party there.

If you choose Chuck E. Cheese, 3 year olds love it! But, I would suggest going during the week when hardly anyone is there.

Best, D.

Hi there, so Boon Docks is fun off Overland and Meridian, check the age group for activities though(might be for older children). Chucky Cheese on Fairview and Curtis is always fun and PoJos off Fairview and Maple Grove(?) are a few I can think of that are party friendly. Have a wonderful Birthday!!

Pump it up is great- private party, only have the kids you invite to it- inflatables- a bit pricey though ($250 or so)

Planet Kid- public, not private- a little more chaotic though- probably cheaper than PIU- fun climbing area

Pojo's- they have a smaller child area with electronic games and a carousel- we've gone on weekdays and were practically the only ones there

The Boise Zoo could be fun too
