I got my son's first birthday cake at Celebrity Bakery at Park and the Tollway. It was absolutely delicious. They have a booklet with all the different decorations they have available. It was probably one of the best cakes I have ever tasted.

The Cake Stand in downtown McKinney has a great reputation for cakes with all kinds of decorations. I have not personally bought one of their cakes, but people I know have bought a variety of cakes there, including wedding cakes. It's a small family-owned business.

I've used this lady many times. I've not ever had a cake that tastes better then hers and she does a BEAUTIFUL job. She works out of her home and is located in the Plano area at Legacy & Red River. She did a construction themed one for 1 kiddos birthday and a gorgeous fire truck for another.

One of my clients, who also happens to be a new mother with one on the way makes the BEST cakes! She did my daughter's first birthday cake and everyone RAVED!! I am not familiar with Texas, I live in NJ, but I did a bridal shower cake which was beautiful and everything was made out of cake... I also did a sweet 16 BD cake with my daughter laying on the floor of the cake(made out of cake) on the telephone.. I gave him a Picture of her and he copied her face... I went to a specialty bakery... (excellent, had alot of people raving about it how it even looked like her.
Look up in your phone book for a specialty bakery, go there, they have books of all the cakes they did, and they really are amazing, and suprisingly they were very tasty.
