The day my daughter turned 2 months old on August 8th, I got Mirena. I was just curious if anyone else have used Mirena (or currently using Mirena). Since I got mine, I have had mild cramping almost everyday with some light bleeding. Plus, even tho in the pamplet/booklets it states tampons can be used, since I had my Mirena I haven't been able to use them. I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced any of this. I have an appt with my doctor coming up but I wanna see if I am alone in this.

What can I do next?

This is a MUCH discussed topic around here! You are not alone, and from what you describe you are not experiencing anything out of the normal.
If you do a search on here about IUD or Mirena you will find tons and tons of information regarding lots of our experiences with this!

I have the Mirena. I was crampy the first day only. Light bleeding/period occassionally and I am able to wear tampons. I have had mine for about a yr. Love it. Your symptoms are ones I would speak to your doc. about. Good luck!

I had a Mirena for almost 2 years. My doctor highly recommended it (told me it was the "best thing since sliced bread"). I don't have much luck with taking progesterone though, and I ended up with daily spotting almost the entire time I had it. However, I was told that the longer you have it the lighter your periods will get. I would hang in there with it for awhile. If the cramping doesn't get better soon, I would tell your doctor. Good luck!!
