I am expecting my second child in August. My children will be 2 1/2 years apart. My son does not like to ride in the stroller much, so we are leaning towards buying a Sit N Stand type stroller. We are also considering double strollers. What stroller brand and model would you recommend, and why? Thanks in advance.

We bought the Baby Trend Sit 'N Stand Double Stroller. Thanks for the suggestions.

Hi,
We just had our third child 3 months ago. With our first two children (2 years apart) we had a maclaren double stroller and liked it because both kids enjoyed being pushed around. Now that the girls are older, we just bought the Joovy Ultralight stroller. I honestly wish we had bought a sit and stand type of stroller the first time around though. It's more narrow, about the same weight, and if needed, the third can hop on for a quick rest break.

Ditto on the BabyTrend Sit n Stand! I bought mine at Target, as well, and the only thing I wish it had was a bigger basket to put things in. The sit n stand on onestepahead.com is probably that one I would've bought had I been able to compare basket size side-by-side. My son was 3 when my daughter was born, so he enjoys standing or sitting on the jump seat while we ride around. It's easy and doesn't weigh much more than my single stroller :)

We love our Joovy ultralight caboose! My older daughter loves that she can sit or stand and get out when she wants to.

I bought the "Baby Trend Sit N' Stand" stroller from Target for $99 on sale and it works really well for me. I have a 25 month old and a 2 week old and I would fully recommend it to any one looking for a good, lightweight, dependable stroller.

Good Luck!

Definitely a sit n stand type of stroller. My little ones are 21 months apart (baby is 5 months old) and it works great. Also, my 5 year old sometimes likes to stand on the stroller too.

I have an 2 year old who also won't ride in a stoller. He loves the sit and stand. I just got a Joovy Caboose Ultralight and am loving it.
