Hello - I know that every baby is different, but just looking for suggestions in bottles/nipples that some of you may have used and had success with breastfed infants who won't take breastmilk bottle. I've got a 3 month old who took bottle at two weeks, I got lax, tried again at 6 weeks and ever since she has refused. Looking for some guidance of what has worked for other moms.

Mine liked the playtex nurser. Then switched to the soothie, probably because he was convinced by grandma to use that type of paci. Yaeh, grandma:)
We had the same issue with our now 5 month old daughter. She was breastfed but we gave her a bottle every few days. Then when she turned 3 months it was like a switch got flipped and she just stopped taking the bottle. We used Born Free originally and tried Medela and Dr. Browns once she started refusing. After a few weeks we tried Playtex Drop Ins. For some crazy reason those did the trick and she's been taking a bottle a day ever since. I'm now weaning her and having no issues with her taking the bottle. Its tough but I'd say just keep trying. Good luck!
ADIRI bottles worked for my daughter. Good luck!!!
You can't get "lacked" with a baby. Switching is too confusing. Get him off and stay off. They get use to whatever you make everyday for them. Just stick to it.
I haven't tried them, but there is a new bottle by Nuby that looks great! The whole thing is silicone, and it has the widest, most breast-like nipple I have seen.
Good luck!
My son who is almost exclusively breastfed will ONLY take the Nuk style nipple, probably b/c it resembles the real thing the most!
Good luck-
The Playtex Nurser with the brown latex nipple is the only one my daughter would take while nursing. Good luck.

Baby Crazy sells the Adiri bottle, designed by lactation consultants. The nipple is truly shaped like a mother's nipple and it has a vavlve to help prevent colic.
Baby Crazy also has a 1005 money back guarentee if you get it and are not satisfied.
Check it out at www.iambabycrazy.com/R. click shop on line and click not a party event & search for the bottle.
Let me know if I can be of any help.

Adiri bottles worked the best for us.
My son would only consistently use the Nuk bottles/nipples. We tried the ones that resembled a real nipple, and he just wasn't thrilled. So whenever Daddy had to feed him, it had to be Nuk.
I had the same problem with my son. The Playtex Nurser with a latex nipple worked best, over other silicone nipples/bottles (Playtex VentAire & Avent) I had.

I have had the same problem. My 2 year old did the same thing and now our 8 week old isn't taking it well either. We tried every nipple with the first one. He would only take(after 2 months of trial and error)Playtex drop in latex nipples. My babies won't take silicone paci's or bottles. I hope she will take something soon.
