Best Night Cream

I want to buy a good night cream. They're so expensive and so many choices. How do I know which one is best? What do you ladies LOVE? (I'm trying to stay under $20 - Garneir, Oil of Olay, Orchid). I am hoping that using such great creams/moisturizers at age 31 will help me KEEP my skin 'healthy' and 'wrinkle-free' as opposed to waiting till I'm 50 and try to FIX the wrinkles. BTW I'm pale, with freckles, the occasional pimple here and there, with a family history of plenty of wrinkles. I have combination skin. Any advice?

Muchos Thank-Yous!!

What can I do next?

I know you said under $20. BUT... I've been an avid Clinique user since I was about 11. I'm almost 50 and still easily pass for mid 30's. A great skin care routine from early on pays off...

Clinique guarantees their products as well. You don't like them = you don't pay for them.

I'm very faithful to my skin care routine. Right now I use the Repair Wear series, night/ day/ laser focus ... Youth surge. I love these. They are $35+ per container, BUT they last a good 6 months each.

My 16 yr old is using Clinique as well and is as adamant about her skin care as I am. Her skin is flawless.

We also use Clinique sunscreen every day all year & drInk lots of water.

Good luck!

A friend of mine recommended Origins' Night-a-Mins and I tried a sample and loved it! It's not under $20, but worth considering if you up your budget. I am also fair skinned with combo skin and it works great both both the dry and oily parts. Skin looks and feels great in the morning.

I'm 41 and have few wrinkles. What I think is even more important than night creams is making sure you use a daily moisturizer with SPF in it. It's sun damage that really does in skin. I've worn SPF on my face since a teen and I think it's why my skin looks so good now.

IF you decide to spend more, I use Dr. Hauschka's Rose Cream. I have tried MANY other creams and at a cheaper price.. but I always return to the DR.. :) it's just a nice emollient and doesn't make me break out.. I LOVE it... and have used it for years..
also, drink lots of water, and take omega oil (krill) that helps from the inside out..

best of luck

A tube of Shaklee's C + E Repair PM lasts me at least 6 months even though I sometimes put it on my hands and any cut, burn or wound. So it is worth the money. I could see results in 3 days.

I have always used Oil of Olay, and Mary Kay night cream. I do not have any wrinkles on my face at all, not around eyes, lips, anything. And I glob on the Oil of Olay every day and let it soak in. I also use the MK whenever I get sunburned.
