30 day shred + south beach phase 1 = at least 5 lbs off
We were just invited to a lake house getaway in 2 weeks with new friends. I know I can't overhaul my body in that short amount of time, but I want to feel better about it come bathing-suit-in-front-ot-everyone-time. What are your best/favorite tone-up fast routines, exercises, videos? I'm thinking old standbys like lunges, squats, push ups but would LOVE to hear if you have something you swear by. Someone mentioned Tae Bo (is that still around?!), Tracy someone who trains Gwyneth Paltrow, Jillian Michaels...What have you had success with? I could stand to lose a few pounds (5-10) so I will be eating more healthfully but would love some butt, leg, arm toning, too. Again, I'm not expecting miracles, but would like to at least feel more confident. Thanks for your input!!

30-Day Shred is great. Pushups are great too - as many as you can manage and then just hang in the prone position. It'll tighten your entire body.
fOR A GREAT AND FUN CARDIO WORK OUT DO ZUMBA.
You can burn 800 calories in the hour and toning is included as part of the moves. The classes are better as you have more peeps to do the moves with. I hear the videos are good but not as effective.
I teach the classes and have notice dramatic toning in my body.

If you're looking for a fast fix, do Jillian Michael's 30 day shred plus some extra cardio every day (like a 30 min jog or longer brisk walk). Add doing a diet like Atkins (NO carbs at ALL) for those 2 weeks and you should notice some pretty good results.
I wouldn't recommend Atkins long term....but it *IS* a good jump-start diet.
