I hope the poor little thing is feeling better. If not you might want to keep track of what she eats....we had to do this with my cousin's little boy. We made a chart and every time he ate something we listed it all and if he complained about his belly hurting and so on. We eventually narrowed it down to a few things that seemed to bother him everytime and took one of those things away for a week to see if he was feeling any better. After a few weeks we found out that anything containing tomatoes upset his stomach. Your little one might also have a sensitivity to something she is eating that is making her feel icky all the time. I hope she feels better soon!!

I don't know if your daughter is feeling better by now or not I hope she is but I just thought that you should know that in November my kids, several of my friends and their children, my husband, his boss and myself were all having terrible stomach aches. and since the adults also had it we were able to explain it to our doctor. the pain was very much like the pain that you get from food poising. Apperantally we all had a "dry" stomach flu. the pain lasted about a week and a half.

BTW... I hate you :) I see you live in Ravenna, My husband and I eventually want to build in Ravenna.

Has she been running alot lately. She might just have tight ab muscle aches right now. You might consider giving her a heat wrap to see if it helps. It could be that she is particularly gassy of late too. I would make an appointment with the doctor, just to be on the safe side. But until then, the heat wrap might help.

I'm not trying to freak you out, but you may want to take her to the doctor. When I was 7 years old, I complained of belly aches to my parents all the time as well, but the doctor just said it was gas. At 9, I was rushed to the ER for emergency surgery, because the pain became so severe. It turned out that I had a cyst growing on my ovary and they had to remove it. It had been growing for two years. If they had caught it earlier, they may have been have to do something. If you can't find a cause for your daughter's pain, ask the doctor for an ultrasound. That test would be able to show any abnormalities. (That's what ultimately showed the problem for me).

Like I said, I'm not trying to say that it is this 'worst case scenario', but something you should be aware of. My parents didn't think it could be anything like that, because I was so young.

Good luck, and I hope she feels better soon!
