*Be Warned- Sexual Question*

Hi ladies,

This is kind of embarrassing so I do not wish to ask any of my female friends...I was hoping you all out in cyber space could help answer something for me?

My DH enjoys the way my vagina smells. I catch him smelling his fingers, and I think this is kind of gross :) Occasionally he will ask if he can just touch me so he can smell me? I would think after 13+ years this would get a little old for him but it hasn't! We had a conversation about this the other day and I called him weird...he knows I subscribe to this site and he suggested I ask all you ladies on here to ask their husbands about it and he feels confident that he is completely normal and that most men do enjoy this as well? I guess I can understand the whole pheromones thing...but still? After all these years?

Thanks for answering and feel free to PM me if you too are too embarrassed to do so publicly...I am so embarrassed by asking but figured you guys are all strangers anyways...what could it hurt?

I do not mean to make my DH feel weird, I just wish I knew he wasn't being an uber pervert:)

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you to all the ladies who had the courage to answer my somewhat silly and very inappropriate question:) My DH feels very vindicated right now! I will continue to call him weird...however... I am very grateful that he is still "into" me....after all these years...and all these kids!

Hope you all have a fabulous Father's Day weekend!

I am not a "dude" and am not "trolling"...so sad that some people are so nervous about that on this sight? I have been a member of this sight for years...you can check my profile and look for yourself:)

LMAO!! He is not being a pervert... You are very lucky that it is you that he wants to smell. If a man can channel and his funny little sexual quirks to you then it is OK, right?!

I am momma11's husband and I have 2 words for all of you ladies out there (including my own wife of 15+yrs & 2 kids) - ACCEPT GIFTS! Yes, we men may be "weird" and y'all may think it's gross, but the fact is there are millions of muffins out there and we "good husbands" still love the one's we've loved for years. Just be grateful that we do and I repeat...ACCEPT GIFTS : )-

This is momma11 - I hope you moms don't mind his post. We have this discussion often b/c I just don't get why he likes it so much. He heard one of the women from the Vagina Monologues saying "Accept Gifts" regarding this issue and he has used that on me for years. It is now his mantra!

Its not weird, its not even different. Men enjoy the way woman smell. I have been with a few men, and it is not at all uncommon to catch them sneaking a sniff of your undies when they take them off of you or simply breathing in deeply once between your legs. Be happy he still finds you so intoxicating.

Hey look, even if your husband was being an uber-pervert (which he's totally not by the way), who cares? I mean, if it really bothers you, ask him not to do it when you're around, but I can think of a number of ways you can really make this work to your advantage (wink wink, nudge nudge).

Honestly, I mean this in a non-snarky, supportive way, after 13 years be psyched that your husband is still so into you. Everyone has weird quirks that turn them on, and you have the thing that works for your husband, so take that and go with it. (I hope he indulges your quirks too! If not, start). Good sex is good for marriage.

Eww... seriously, men enjoy that in a way I will never understand, but even then, there are some times it is stronger and a little less pleasurable than others. However, if it makes you uncomfortable to just give him your 'smell' just so he can smell his hands, then he needs to respect that you are uncomfortable no matter how much he likes it and just remember the scent when it's intimacy time.

Really though, I would not like it either if my husband walked around smelling his hands, I cringe at the thought, so you aren't alone there!

I mean, I like the way gasoline smells, but I don't drive to the gas station and rub my hands in it for a momento or anything.

its funny you should post this (?) but ever since I had my dd a year ago I have noticed that my scent has changed I no longer find it (I'm going to say this politely) enjoyable. I think my hormones changed me and its funny bc my hubby is all about it now he liked it before but now I swear he could spend all day "down there". I don't get either. so i figure if he is happy with it then so be it.

It is loaded with pheromones which are you bodies natural way of attracting a mate. Must really be a chemical attraction between the 2 of you :)

Normal in my house! We have been together for 19 years, married for 15 and have 2 1/2 yr old twin boys. My guy still acts like he is in collage...I could become more, um, verbal, but just know that my man is like yours. I guess we are the lucky ones, the ones who's men love our/this thing.
p.s. i am not complaining ;)

Your vaginal secretions to him are arousal. He is not wierd, some men do and some men don't. If he is not harming you and you are in pleasure with it, don't worry, enjoy it and enjoy him too. luvu

My hubs and yours were seperated at birth. He is the same way. It does gross me out sometimes, the only thing I ask is that he doesn't touch me near my face when he ummmmmm smells "of" me. Otherwise I don't discourage it because we have been together for 15 yrs and he's still into me like when we first met. Don't fix what ain't broke (lol)

My husband is the same way! I have never understood it. He wants to go down on me all the time and I am (oddly enough) uncomfortable with it - it tickles a lot ad I just can't get in to it. To me, it stinks. I mean, I don't think I have a weird odor or anything... but it just smells.... weird? I don't know.

I'm right there with you though. I do it for him, because he enjoys it. Maybe this will change as I get older and we are married longer? I am 23 and we've been married 3 years - so its not like we have a lot to go on so far... I guess we'll find out!

I catch my husband smelling panties all the time and I'm very pleased that they're mine. :)

And yes, men buy used panties on the internet in real life, not just crime shows. One of my female friends has an online store where she sells panties worn by herself and other women she knows. She'll do a photo shoot and/or short video with the model wearing the panties and then put the panties up for sale. In Japan you can buy used panties from vending machines.

I do not have any personal experience on this subject, but I did see a "crime show" on TV where someone had a business selling panties after girls wore them -- men would buy them because of the smell. Although it is TV, I believe they usually base those things somewhat on reality. If I were you, I'd be flattered that after 13 years my husband was still turned on by that.

Its normal... My husband doesn't walk around smelling his hand or anything but he does like to go down there and wants to more than I let him. He really enjoys it...idk. lol.
Also, My husband and I have been married for over 6 years, and have had 3 kids. Now he is "getting off" faster than he used to. I would think that the longer he has been with me and having the same thing he would get used to it and it would take longer. Especially after having 3 kids and it not being the same as before... But Idk. Im hoping that he just loves me more today than he did 6 years ago and thats why lol...
Maybe its the same sort of thing with yours. Maybe he just loves everything about u...

You already got lots of good responses here, but I just wanted to chime in. Personally, I am always super-self-conscious about the scent down there, to the point that I avoid sex, certainly oral, if I haven't recently showered. Sigh. I know it's my problem. I don't have a 'foul' odor, it's just the natural woman smell. And I have talked about this with my fiance, and he swears, he loves it. He will spend as much time down there as I let him. I guess it's not a bad thing, and just a different experience for men than us women. I'm sure it's all about the pheromones.
