hi, i was wondering if anyone has any recipes on baking cookies (homemade) with organic sugar? I'm not sure if you use the same amount as with regular sugar or not?
I have baked with raw and organic sugar and used the exact same amount. Honey is the only thing you have to change liquid levels and such.
My daughter has an allergy to CORN, which is in everything, like maple syrup, powdered sugar and regular sugar. We have started using cane, organic and turbinado sugars. While they look different than the white granulated sugar - they sweeten the same. I have found them to be no different, other than pricey, so far.
Yes, you use the same amount. You actually use the same amount of any organic product as you would a regular product.
Yes, use the same amount of sugar. Most recipes call for too much sugar. You can lower slightly and add instead sugar alternatives like honey or maple syrup.
I just use it the exact same way:)
I also started using Agave nectar (found at health food stores and some SuperTargets) since giving up honey when I was pregnant....so yummy!
Seems to me you'd use the same amount. It's not like it's stronger in flavor - just grown without pesticides, etc.
All organic means is grown naturally with no chemicals or additives such as pesticides, etc.
So whether you use milk or organic milk, sugar or organic sugar- it is all the same as far as ingredients go.
Hello, I use half the size when baking with organic brown sugar and it works really well!!! Have fun!
Use is just like regular sugar. If you need a finer grain, you can give it a whirl in your food processor.
I use the same when baking with organic versus regular sugar.
yes it's the same the only time you need to adjust amounts is if you substitute honey for sugar. If you do that then it's double the amount in honey. have fun baking!
