S.S.
I have made it in a loaf pan, a cake pan, a pie tin and once when I had nothing else to use a casserole dish lol. it will work in any of them.
So, I want to attempt to make a monkey bread and all the recipes I found call for using a bundt pan. I don't have one and was wondering if I could just use a loaf pan. If not, does anyone know where I can get a cheap bundt pan? The cheapest I saw was at Wal-Mart for $11. I've only been to 2 stores, so there could be plenty of places to get one. I don't want to spend a lot, because I don't see me using it that often. Thanks.

I would think that you may need 2 loaf pans, but I wouldn't hesisitate to try it that way, I have a feeling it will work just fine.
I'm sure you can make it in a loaf pan. Or two. Enjoy!
The monkey bread recipe I use just requires a pie or cake pan. A loaf pan will probably work. I love that stuff! Now I want to make some!
I went ahead and got the bundt pan, although a loaf pan would probably work fine. I was ok buying one because I also use it to make these wonderful stuffed pizza roles.
If you have a large glass, oven-safe bowl that might work too. It's traditional to use a bundt pan, though, and there is probably some good reason for it although I'm not sure what it would be. Remember that the dough rises, and most recipes are written for a bundt pan, so make sure whatever you use is comparable in volume so it doesn't end up spilling out all over your oven.
Yum.. now I need some monkey bread! They also make Cheesy monkey Bread at one of the bakeries here in town.. delish..
Yes, a loaf pan will work great..
Try Michael's and use a coupon or JoAnn Fabrics. Both have some baking pans.
