I'm new to town looking for a bakery in Woodbury or within 15 minutes of Woodbury that has yummy chocolate cakes with buttercream icing. It will be for a birthday party.
I highly recommend McHattie's- cakes and catering by Roxanne. She makes beautiful cakes! Every time I get one for a party, I get so many compliments. She also does a great lunch- tea, scones and delicious food!

Dorothy Ann Bakery has the BEST cakes around. They are on Commerce behind Sams Club and near Just Jump and Little Kids Big City.
There are 2 options right in Woodbury. One is Dororthy Ann cakes behind Sam's Club and the other is Tinucci's off Woodbury Drive and Valley Creek Road. Both have incredible desserts!
Keys Cafe and Bakery in Woodbury (inside Valley Creek Mall) has the most AMAZING chocolate cake with buttercream icing. I ask my husband to get it for my birthday every year. Highly recommended!

Sams Club - If you're not a member, just ask for a free quest pass, order ahead of time. Tasty and inexpensive, you can get a Big sheet cake for $16-$18.
Cub Foods has good cakes too. I believe you can get buttercream frosting there as well.
There's Dorothy Ann Bakery, just behind Sams Club. They have great cakes and bakery and lunches there too. Actually we are ordering a wedding cake there for my son.
Dorothy Ann's Bakery - I think it's on Commerce or on a street parallel to Commerce Drive.
We got our son's baptism and 1 yr bday cake there - both delicious and beautifully decorated. Very helpful staff as well! Enjoy!
