I bought a nice ham on the bone which I am going to bake. What are your favorite recipes for glazes and cooking tips? I've used various ingredients before, but I'd like to get a fresh take on it. So, what do you like...mustard...brown sugar....gingerale...pineapple...? Looking forward to some yummy recipes!

here in the South we love Coca-Cola.

One can of Coca Cola, worchester sauce, finely chopped onion, finely chopped garlic, 2 TBSP brown sugar, mix it all together and pour over the ham...add some pineapple if you would like...cover with foil, bake for 45 minutes until heated through...

I baste mine about every 15 minutes.

If you google "Monte's Ham" you should get a good recipe, the glaze is orange marmalade, brown sugar and dijon mustard. I made this a couple weeks ago and it was really good"

I like ham but dont care for the salty part of it. me having a sweet tooth i slice the ham, bone or can, pour the mixture of brn sugar(the litle box, the whole thing, lol.)/pineapple juice, thats in the pinapple can, make it thick, putting the slices of pineapple between the slices. cook for 45 min. for 15 min. then i riv up the oven from 325 to 400f for the edges to get crispy. let it soak in mixture for awhile. yummich.
