Hi Moms,

My husband has been complaining of back pain for a long time. He got to the point that he can't sit or lay down for too long. He is taking pain med, that helps but the pain is back later. I am looking for a heath professional that has help you or someone in your family.
Thank you in advance,
DZ

My husband is seeing Dr. Charles Banta in Dallas. It's still a little early to say whether or not his plan is working or not but so far, so good. My husband does like the way Dr. Banta treats him as an individual and not a number.

I have a wonderful chiropractor that has an office in Plano. I see him at his Lewiville office so if you call ###-###-#### they can help you. I do what is called spinal decompression. It is like a small miracle. My body started to shut down during my chemo treatment and I had terrible back pain all the time. This is what got me thru! Try it you have nothing to lose

I had terrible back pain for two years. I thought I would never be able to do many things and was angry because I felt too young to be slowed down. I went to a top orthopedic surgeon and he told me I had degenerative disc disease. He said it would not get better and told me there was nothing I could do about it. Basicly said live with it. I am not putting down health professionals, but they are human and they don't know everything. I changed my exercise routine and began to pool walk in a warm water pool, went to a chiropractor that gave me some exercises. I did physical therapy. I took something from all these things and it helped, but not hugely.

In the midst of all this I began searching for non-toxic cleaners for my home, trying to do my bit for the environment. I found some I like and it lead me to Shaklee, a health and nutrition company. I decided to try some nutrition. I started taking better vitamins and alfalfa. My back began to get better. I upped my nutrition and added in protein and glucosamine. I got better. Soon I was back to my walking for exercise routine and could sit longer. In just a few months I went from daily pain to occasional pain that was not enough to stop me from doing anything. I do daily excercises the therapist taught me, stretches the chiropractor taught me and stick to my nutrition plan. I am 99% better. I now believe nutrition and exercise can accomplish amazing things. I am now an Independent Shaklee Distributor because of all this! Tell your husband not to give up!
