Sleep on your side, and buy a body pillow. It always helped me to be able to wedge it between my knees (So that my top leg sagging doesn't pull my hip forward and twist my back) and hugging it, which did the same for my shoulders.

Make sure you are getting enough vitamin D... I never knew this, but a deficiency will cause back and leg pain. Who knew? Lol.

Ughh, I'm sorry to hear that, I remember that pain. Have you tired a heating pad, or a massage? Hope you find something that works for you! Congrats on the baby

I always found that laying on my back with my legs out like a frog helped. The bones are moving and they need some relaxed stretch time. I then had to be rolled onto my side to get up but always felt much better stretched out. It also strengthened my muscles so it trained them to be stronger and they didn't hurt so much anymore.

I had good luck with a chiropractor who specialized in pregnant patients. She also sent me home with some basic stretches which helped keep the pain at bay. You could try filling a clean athlethic sock with dry rice or beans. Tie off the filled sock, heat in the microwave 2-3 minutes and you'll have a flexible heating pad good for an hour. Make sure when you sleep you are keeping your body in line which will require pillows. If you are rolling your right hip over your left hip, then you'll be creating more problems. Good luck.

Acupuncture is the only think that helps my back pain. It will also relax you and keep your stress down. Good luck.

Chiropractic! I've been adjusted through all of my entire pregnancies and it made me SO COMFORTABLE.

Some are better than other, just as in any profession. Mine always checked and adjusted (if necessary) my pubic bone, which took ALL of my back pain away and I never waddled.

Try here first to find one:
http://icpa4kids.org/Find-a-Chiropractor/

and ask questions, like, "Does the doctor adjust the pubic bone?" "Do he/she adjust pregnant patients on a regular basis?"

If you are not getting the results that you need, find someone else. E-mail me and I'll give you my chiro's #!
