Bachelorette Party Game Ideas

One of my younger sisters is getting married this summer. I am her matron of honor and so am in charge of planning the bachelorette party. My sister is 22, just getting out of college. We are having the party at a family resort not far from where we grew up. This will be an all weekend event. I need ideas for a few fun, cheap, bachelorette party games. We will have underage friends there so no drinking games (or at least maybe we could use virgin drinks for them), and nothing too sexual. Also, my youngest sister (who is 11) will be there part of the time. Any good ideas?

What can I do next?

I went to one and we made wedding dresses out of toilet paper. Divide everyone into groups and each group chooses a lady to be the model and the group creates a wedding dress on their model bride. Then you can have the bride-to-be choose which one she likes best.

Another game we played were in groups of 2. There were several paper sacks with different cosmetic items in them. One lady was blindfolded and she would open the bag and put the items on the other lady that wasn't blindfolded. Some of these items were lipsticks, shower cap, hair bows, necklaces that are easy to put on, and some other things I can't remember. I think there was a can of silly string and they thought it was hairspray by the can so that was fun and it's easy to remove out of their hair. You probably don't want eye make-up as they are blindfolded and may poke someone in the eye with the products. The lipstick was the funniest as they would miss the lips and have it on their nose or face.

They also played a game where they asked questions about the groom and every one she missed she had to chew a piece of bubble gum so if they miss a lot that is one big wad of gum to chew.

We played a game at a party that I went to that was called "find my match". The organizer printed out stickers with the names of part od a famous couples like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Demi and Ashton, Kermit and Miss Piggy, etc.. Then each person had a sticker with a name on it placed on their back and they had to mingle ask yes and no questions to each other and try to find the other half of their couple. It was pretty fun.

You might try going on line for some fum, clean type of games BUT it's really how well you know the people that are attending. You can play sard games, bingo (for sexy treats/toys), truth or dare, bobbing for apples & who can get a pop sicle off the stick without biting it...you know what I'm trying to say...right? These are somethings that your child shouldn't be able to catch on to BUT she really shouldn't be there either. Good luck & have fun in ALL that you do!

You can have games such as bingo, cards and guessing games. For the 11 year old and other adult you can play an acting game and have guess what people are playing. You can also play game that involves picture such as have a group draw the item and the other group guess the item.

Here are a couple of ideas:

Digital camera scavenger hunt: You can be creative iwth the list, making it things people could find in or around the party location, make two teams with two drivers if you want to go out and about, or use old magazines and have them find the most creative picture for the question.

Make up a Mad Libs type story about the bride and groom, give the guests sheets with "adjective, noun" etc on it. Then pass out the story and have each person read their story with their words in it.

Make up a series of questions, such as "How long before ___ and ___ have their first baby?" "Where will they take their first vacation?" etc, for the bride and froom to read in the future.

Hope this helps :)!

One of my favorite batchelorette party games is a scavenger hunt. Most of the time we were bar hopping, and it would include things like:
get a phone # from a guy
Get a matchbook with the bars name on it
etc.

We've also done truth or dare type games that we made up in advance, and stuck in a bowl or something and every took turns grabbing. Things like:
Who/when/& where was your first kiss
Ask a guy to dance
How old were you when you lost your virginity
Most embarassing moment on a date
etc.

You can adjust them to any location, hope that helps.

A game we had the most fun with was "How well do you know your guy?" If you don't have the inside scoop on him, you can ask him, sister, mother ect. We asked questions like "how did he break his nose" "how many girls has he dated" (that could be a touchy subject) "who was his favorite teacher?" and so on. We got some good laughes out of it.

HAVE FUN!!!

Last year I attended a bachelorette party where the maid of honor played a neat game. She asked groom on a separate ocassion, questions about the relationship he had with the bride. Specifically, she asked about their first date, favorite movie, funny things about each other (favorite body part!) and on and on. At the party she read the questions she asked the groom aloud to the bride and asked her to guess the answer the groom gave. For each correct answer, she got a piece of her favorite candy to put in a cute jar the maid of honor had purchased for her. The questions were funny and surprisingly, the bride answered correctly for many of them. She ended up with a lot of candy! I thought it was a tasteful game. It showed how much they knew about each other and allowed us to get to know them even more as a couple.

Go online and look for directions on how to do a self-manicure and self-pedicure. Everyone can spend some time chatting while doing their own nails. (or a facial of some sort). Also, for a game you can interview the groom before the party and ask him list of questions about their relationship (where was their first date? what is the brides favorite color? the grooms? what food with the bride NOT eat? where did they meet? if the computer breaks, who will be fixing it?, etc.) You can also do the toilet paper game - hand out a couple rolls of toilet paper and have everyone "make a dress" for the bride as she models it for them. If you do a search online for bach. games, I'm sure you will find other suggestions.

A game a did for a friend of mine last year was to cut out pictures of cute famous guys from magazines and number them 1-10 (or however many you want to do) and then the girls had to write down what their name was. Keep in mind we are a little older so not as in touch with the teen idols of the day, but there were some who knew almost all of them and some who didn't know any. You're youngest sister might be able to help you. I picked guys from all realms, too - tv, movies, music, sports, art, advertising, etc. Try to find some who are older and younger, too. It's fun to drool over the cute boys, but still clean enough for an 11 year old.

L.,
At my bacholorette party my maid of honor planned a scavenger hunt. It lasted an entire evening. I had to collect various items from people, go to different places, have my picture taken in different situations, geting on a stage to sing with a band, etc. We had a group of about 7 girls who all assisted with all the fun. We ended up being filmed by a TV station who saw what we were doing and got involved (not sure if we were actually ever shown on TV though). It was great fun! I would highly recommend it.

I planned a fun game for my sister's bachelorette party and was also her maid of honor. First, prior to the party ask her fiance a series of questions and record his answers (you could video tape them or just write them down). Some examples of questions would be "What was your first date?", "When did you first say 'I love you'?", "What's your favorite t.v. show?"...... Then at the party, ask your sister those same questions, then compare with the fiance to see if they answered the same. If you video taped his answers, you would play his recording after she answers. We played for every answer she got wrong she drank but you could think of something different for your group!

I have 2 ideas...For the first one, bring a bathroom scale. Then gather everyone, and tell them you're having a weigh-in. The person who gets the prize is the one with the.........heaviest purse!

Also, if you want something to enjoy while passing time, the board game Cranium is SO MUCH FUN!! It combines charades, pictionary, spelling, trivia, creativity, and all sorts of activities where you get to be silly and really cut loose and have a good time. Have a great weekend!

I went to a Bachelorette 's party. They went and video tape the groom answering question. Then at the party they ask the question to the bride to see if she gets the answer to match with the groom's answers. If she wrong she has to but a piece of gum in her month. How much does she knows about her future husband. It was lots of fun.

i really liked the "how well do you know the groom" game that my girls surprised me with.

We did it to another girl but for every question she got wrong, she had to put a piece of gum in her mouth for an added G rated twist.

I've played a somewhat immature but hilarious game a couple of times, including my shower. Get a bag of mouse traps and a large pack of hot dogs and a roll of string.
Hand out the string and ask people to take as much as they think they need - at least enough to fit around their waist. Don't say any more than that. Then everyone gets a trap set in front of them "set". Tie the string around their waist. Then they all get hot dogs to tie to the trap and the first person (no hands) who sets off their trap by dangling their hotdog over/on it wins. It is hiarious to watch. Some people have to stand on a chair because they have too much string and some people squat because of a short string. Good for all ages and a ton of laughs.

I've also played "name that famous husband". A little more tame/boring but just list TV wives like June Cleaver and people guess Ward. Etc.

Have a great time.

At my bachelorette party we played a game where everyone brought a pair of (new) underwear. We put them all in a pile and someone would pull out a pair and the person to correctly guess who brought those underwear got to keep them. It was a cute, fun game and not too embarassing.

I have been in nine weddings...........

Some dirty games that have been fun is a pin the "member" on the man - just like pin the tail on the donkey.
I was at one where each person got a jar of playdough and had to sculpt their favorite part of a man's body - that was very funny.
Obviously, I'm not suggesting those for the 11 year old.

You can take any regular board game and turn it into a spicier game. In college, we used to use Jenga and each piece had written on the bottom a challenge, question, dare..... you could make that as clean or nasty as you wanted, but you could theme it around the bride to be - first date, first I love you, last boyfriend, how many kids does she want....etc. Instead of drinking if you are wrong you could just tally points and winner gets prize.
That could be incorporated to any game (make new cards or rules).

I have seen lots of games that are basically how well does the bride know the groom, so it's a list of questions - his first pet, his first best friend, his favorite movie, etc - and those are posed to the bride and someone has already talked to husband-to-be to get the answers. I have even seen it where they had a video of him giving the answers - cute.
I've seen it both where the guests play along and try to answer, too - OR - they just guess how many she'll know and the person with the closest number wins.

Barnes and Nobel or anywhere has these great question books - just a small book of questions, but they have ones on love and sex. Those can really get people talking - some are a little dirty, but mostly they are thought provoking - you could give them to the bride afterwards to use on her honeymoon to ask questions of husband after you girls have had fun with them.
