If you are a creative type of person, I'd make something for each of them. It'll be from the heart and something that will have meaning behind it.
I did that for mine and it seemed to make a big hit.
My friends are throwing me a baby shower in 3 weeks. What is a good but inexpensive gift to give each of my hostesses?
Thanks so much for your advice. It really got me thinking! One idea led to another. Now that it is spring, i got cute little pots at the doller store and bought flowers to plant them in. It cost me less than $5 per person. Thanks for all the ideas, ladies!!

Hi C.,
I only have one baby, so only have had 1 baby shower. My mother threw it for me, along with my sister. I have my mother a necklace, just $35, and my sister a "New Aunt" tee. So, I think it just depends on your relationship with the person. If it's just some friends I say just give them thank you notes and maybe read a little poem to them at the shower infront of everyone. Or maybe some movie gift cards and tell them they have to take you out after the baby!! Just have fun with them, nothing fancy, i say.
JUST HAVE FUN! No need to stress over this!

Have you thought about giving them a Pure Romance party? The hostess or hostesses will receive FREE products for having the party. All you have to do is invite your friends, their friends, and any woman that might want to come to the party. There are consultants in your area, and it's a blast. The consultants will come to your home, set up everything and entertain your guests. It's a girl's night in. And it will be all about the women. Not husbands, no boyfriends, no kids. Just the ladies...... To request a consultant in your area to to

Hi C.,
I think the dollar store idea is a great idea. It is one of my favorite stores for great, but very inexpensive gifts. i was there last night. They have received the spring collection and have many new products. The bubble bath is awesome and smells good!
This is just a thought....

Hi C..
Hmmmm. I would need to know what "inexpensive" means to you. If it's $20, you could buy each one a silver charm at James Avery. Make sure they have a charm bracelet or necklace, first. If it's $10 or less, you can still buy a charm at one of the jewelery kiosks in the mall. JC Penney is having a great sale right now. You might want to look in their jewelery section for small memento type jewelery. Earrings, charms, pinky rings, etc. are great because it will be a little personal and something they can keep forever and it's so fun when you go out with your girlfriends at a later date and they're all wearing what you gave them. For example, I gave all my Bridesmaids and Maid of Honor a James Avery ring and whenever we all go out, they have on the same ring! It's so cute and makes me feel really great and after almost 10 years, and after 3 babies, they still wear their rings!!!
Just make it personal and sweet.
Take Care and Congratulations on your baby!

If you have a lot of hostesses, one option would be to get a little sample gift bag of lotions, bath gels, etc. I did this once and I got the bags from a Mary Kay consultant. She had the cutest little sets and put her card in each one. The sets were like $4 each, so that was nice.
I also like the idea of something sentimental that connects the new baby to the hostess like "Aunt So and So" mug or shirt or cap or something.
Good luck and have fun!
I got my hostess bath salts and wash rags in a small basket from the dollar tree.
Bath & Body works has frequent sales, and if you just get them a little bottle of each of the bath wash, lotion & spray, it keeps it cheap, but nice. Put it in a cute little bag with some tissue paper, maybe a body loofah scrubby thing....thats what we did for mind :D
