I say possible bladder or UTI. I would take her in, it can get painful if it is that and I think it is a simple pee test.
I changed my baby's diaper yesterday (8pm) and saw that she had a major rash-sort of spot like and very sensitive and painful. I had changed her diaper about 2 hrs prior and she was fine. About 30 minutes before I changed her, I gave her homemade turkey and veggie pureed. At about 2am in the morning she started crying and when I took her she was at 100.1 (shes usually 97.9), so I gave her Tylenol and it went down to 98.7.
Today, she's still at 99.7 and still has a rash, but she's eating well and playing. I feel awful. Should I be concerned? Has anyone experienced something similar?

Very important, has she had any vaccines in the past two weeks? If so, this is a vaccine reaction and the doctor will dismiss it. Do not allow that to happen as further vaccines could and will be a problem. It could be just a diaper rash and teething or whatever. Do not give Tylenol anymore as it puts the immunes system on hold and to the side for up to 22 days. You want, and need, that immune system to be working! Try Motrin, dye free. If a child is not in discomfort or the fever is below 103.5, then let the fever be and the body do it's thing on healing whatever it needs to heal. It's ok to have a fever at times as it means the immune system is working to get rid of something.
Let's talk more if it is vaccine related.
As far as the rash-call the dr it sounds like a yeast infection in which they will prescribe an ointment-the fever-that is actually not high-a high fever is 102 plus. treat the fever w/Motrin and if it does not go down and stay controlled call the Dr it could be somethig else. L.:)
She could have a yeast infection and/or a Urinary Tract Infection. My daughter had both when she was 18 months old and it is very painful. If she does have either of those she needs to be on antibiotics. You should take her in. Hope she feels better soon.
Call your pediatrician. I do know that eczema has been flourishing due to the weather change. Good luck.
It sounds different from just a normal diaper rash, but in the future if you have a bad diaper rash, I found a wonderful remedy. A&D ointment with cornstarch, put it on every time you change the diaper and VA LA. It was gone in a day or so. I mixed it in a paper cup with a tooth pick until it was pasty and covered the cup. I know a lady that makes big batch in a tupperware container and has it on hand.
I would suspect the food. Was it new to her? If so, from a scientific standpoint, you can try it again after everything clears up to verify that. But from a mom's standpoint, I would stay away from whatever it was that was new to her system for a while. Hope she is feeling better.
As far as I'm aware... if it's an allergy it wouldn't cause a fever. However, if there was something that was bad it might have given her food poisoning.
Be careful with the tylenol. It does cause problems with the liver. A fever is the bodies way of letting you know that's fighting an infection and although a super high temp (above 103) isn't good for a baby, there are many ways to cool her down.
The rash doesn't sound like a typical diaper rash... at least not what I have experienced with my son, but the other mothers might know something else.
Is she teething? My daughter had horrible diarrhea and diaper rash when she was teething.
