Hello - I'm looking for baby monitor recommendations, specifically digital monitors. What do you use, do you like it, have you tried others that you didn't like?

We've tried a couple non-digital ones in the past and could pick-up sounds from our neighbors baby monotor.

This will be used mainly so that I can do some yard work aftr my little guy goes to bed.

Thanks for your help.

What can I do next?

We use this monitor and love it! It is on the pricey side but I feel like it is worth it! I have had no problems with static or other babies in the area. Our neighbor has a baby too and we cannot pick her up on our monitor. Good luck.

I bought the Graco Digital iMonitor Vibe . And I LOVE it! The only pit fall is it was about $60 which I thought was a little pricey... but I really recommend it. The sound is super clear- no static, plus when it detects a noise or a lot of motion it vibrates! Kind of like a cell phone. So in case I am doing something like vaccuming and wont hear my baby, I can "feel" her cries so to speak! It has a clip also and lights that light up and down depending on how loud the noise is. So pretty much it will let you know in multiple ways what your little one is up to, either by sound-sight-or touch! Its great.
Speaking of yard work , I do use it for this and no problems with signal. I clip it to my pocket and I always either hear it or feel it when my girl wakes up!

We have the Summer Infant Video Monitor and LOVE it! We got it at BabiesRUS. You can use up to two cameras with it and the handheld scree will switch back and forth to each room (if you have more than one baby). You just plug it in and go. It's awesome!

My friend said get the "summer" monitor from Target. It keeps her from running upstairs everytime she hears a noise, and she doesn't disrupt the infant trying to get to sleep...

We started using the Summer video monitor and we love it!

The only problem we've run into is cordless phones do not get along with it at all - the monitor gets staticy (if that's a word) when a cordless phone initially rings, and can cut off your connection should the phone get too close to either parts of the monitor.

Graco makes a digital that has a range of 2000 ft, has always worked well for us and has the option of buying 2 handsets or one. Never had a problem with interference from neighbors.
