Anyone have a recommendation for a bath seat? baby girl is too big for the one i use in the sink and I would like to bathe my girls together in the tub, so a seat might be nice. Not sure how comfy or convenient they are though. Any suggestions would be great. thanks!

If she is sitting I absolutely LOVE my Safety 1st tubside bath seat. It attaches to the side of the tub and if memory serves swivels as well. I was able to pretty easily wash my son and it allowed my boys to play together in the tub. Since the one I used with my middle son was a "loaner" I have a new one ready to go for when my baby is to the right age. Good luck!

i have an 'aquababy' bath seat. i haven't tried any other bath seat so i have nothing to compare it to. i am satisfied with it and it has never tipped over (although i am always within arms distance of the seat). my only concern is that my baby, who is 18 months, will occassionally try to stand up in it. i just sit her back down. i wasn't initially going to purchase a bath seat but i'm so glad i did. a very good investment since they love to take baths together (18 month old and 4 yr old). hope this helps.

Walmart has one that I use for my son. The store does not carry it so you have to order it online. It doesn't suction well in the bath but it does the job. His weight keeps it from moving and I'm not worried about him falling over and hitting his head.

Target.com has a good tub ring, I went through 3 or 4 bath tubs , I just bought the yellow foam pad for $4.99 , roll up a receiving blanket(the small ones in a pack) as a pillow and she loves it ( 10 mo old).

If you want to bathe them together, make sure you drain the water when take the baby out and leave the 3 yr old in there while you dry the baby and maybe try the small blow up tub that you put in the big tub. I think bathing a 6mo old and 3yr old together will be tough. I would wait a few months.
ONE STEP AHEAD has great products. Magazine or online. Good luck!

The safety first bath ring has gotten three of my children through this period. I love it, but you can't leave the baby unattended in it ( I don't think anyone would anyway). Here is a link

Back before they had all this "bath Seat" and foam . We would fold a towel in half and that would keep baby from slipping. Works good int he sink too !!!!

I love the LARGE Leacho bather. It is a soft fabric bather and you can turn it upside down for infants and then when they are able to sit up on their own you can turn it the right side up and they sit it in. You just hang it on the faucet poriton of the tub after the bath and it dried in minutes. I think it is wonderful. I also use the smaller LEACHCO bather on the counter of the bathroom to remove my baby's clothes before the bath. I am on baby number 3 and I love this baby item.

Hi S., I have a 2 year old and a 9 month old and I have the seat that goes in the bath tub and attaches to the side to allow my 9 month old to sit in it without falling over. It totally works to allow both of them to take a bath at the same time. IT's the safety 1st one.

Good luck!

I absolutely love the Eurobath found at Babies R' Us. After reading the reviews I decided to go with it and I have had not regrets. As a matter of fact I have recommended to a couple of friends and they too love the bath.

There are ones that suction onto tub and look like a ring. It can rotate. I think our brand was First steps. It was awesome, used for both my girls. Good even when sister is in tub with little sister.

Oh girl, you are missing out...you have to get one of those convertible bath tubs and it turns into like a seat and you put it in the bath tub. The best part is you can bathe both kids at the same time. I have a almost 3 yr old and 11 month old and they have sooooooo much fun together in there. Have fun! N.

We've been using the Safety 1st tubside bath seat for my 11 month old ever since she was sitting up and she loves it. She takes a bath with my 4 year old and this works great. It has an arm rest portion that hooks over the tubside so you can lean on it to bathe her. It is bulky to store, but it we still like it. I just store it in the tub. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2969577

I bought a seat at babies r us for about 25 dollars. It attaches to the side of the tub and the baby sits in it like a chair. I love it!

Hi S.,
I used a bath seat for my little one for a long time. I liked it a lot. Of course you still have to supervise them all the time, but the seat lets them sit up in the seat and seemed comfortable for my little one. If you go on Amazon and type in "bath seat" you'll see different versions.
Good luck!

I used a bath-seat from safety first. From the time they could sit up till they were about 1. Then they were to big for it. I think it had 3 or 4 suctions on the bottom so it would stick to the tub. I also sat on the sturdy safety fist step stool next to the tub so it was easier for me to bathe my kids.Good Luck. D.

I used a bath sling I found at Target. It is a mesh metal frame and just sits in the tub rather then you needing to fill it separately. The foot part flexed up so I could sit it in the tub sideways which gave more room for my other two kids in the tub and made it easier to bathe the baby anyway. It is the smallest one and stores so nicely under the sink. I think it was from first step?? Not sure, but I know that it's available at both Target and Wal-mart. Be sure to have a video camera ready to catch all the giggles your going to get!! It was fantastic fun for my kids!!

Dear S.,
I had a shower space but no bathtub, so I used one of those blue plastic home storage boxes that was just big enough for two kids as the bathtub and used one of those suction bath tripod like seats that kept the baby securely stationed upright while my older one was able to be free in the H20. With the smaller space, smaller amount of water, + the softly rounded plastic sides, it was much easier to keep things safe.I, behind the higher sided walls stayed dryer, kids stayed warmer, toys never floated out of reach, and the closeness of the kids kept them playing with each other. The only thing you need to remember, is you need to be able to tip the plastic to dump the water out-or bail it out until you can, as it can be a bit heavy & obviously, you don't want to leave standing water around. It worked for me and it saved a lot of water too!Good luck and enjoy- mine are now 12 and 8.
