I just signed up for AVON a couple of days ago & I am a little afraid that I may have gotten in over my head. Is there any advice for me from anyone who has been selling AVON that they wish someone would have told them in the beginning? I feel like this may not be something that is really going to profit me. I don't know what to do.

What can I do next?

Hello - I have been selling AVON for years! What ??? do you have??? If you ask your district manager, she should be able to help you as well... Also the AVON website has a lot of information.
My email is ____@____.com if you would like to email me directly.
Good luck!

I don't sell Avon but I do sell Mary Kay. I have been a consultant for 2 yrs. The only advice is try not to purchase too much inventoy so you don't end up with a lot of debt. I do pretty good with my Mary Kay. It is flexable so I can stay home w/ my 2 kids.

congratulations on deciding to work from home. There are many types of businesses out there but I agree with Jessica, try not to stock inventory so you don't have out of pocket expenses...although i do not sell avon we may be able to exchange some good "working from home" advice.....
Before you decide which way to go, give it a shot. It is always scary to start your own business, have confidence and posture...it will take you a long way :)

I sold Avon for 6 months. I stopped because they charge you a monthly fee if you don't get any sales. My manager did not tell me that, so I decided that it wasn't for me. I found something else that fits me much better, and I make a ton more money!
