At-home Elliptical Machine

YES and I LOVE it!!! I have a Nordic Track that I bought at Sears. Can't remember the price exactly, but it was around $800. I've had it for 2 1/2 years and while I love it, little things are beginning to go wrong (it's making an annoying squeaky noise right now) But, my husband and I BOTH use it almost every single day. So it has had more than the "normal" amount of wear and tear, IMO. (90 minutes of use per day - that's a lot, right?) It's great though. I get just as good a workout as I do on the ones at the gym.

your price range is important. I have a kettler mondeo ($1800 but i got mine on craiglsist for $600 used). and love it because it has a small foot print and does not overpower my living room. Some of the cheaper models are really large and clunky, and yet my compact model would not be ideal for a very tall and long legged person. I'm very happy with my purchase. I tried one other that had been purchased at Costco. It functioned well, but my goodness it was enormous!

I have a Nordic Track elliptical. It ran around 700. I have had it for three years and I love it! It has all the features the ones at the gym have.

Do u have a precor store in your area. Precor makes home models. We have a Precor treadmill 6 years old works great. Also maybe a Precor store would sell used ones with warranties.

We have one that we love it is a Sole brand but I don't know the model number. Very nice piece of equipment and has had no problems in the 8 years we have owned it. We ordered it online. I recommend you check them out and if you are interested in the model number PM me and I'll look for the booklet I have filed away.

I REALLY love my Sole elliptical. We got it from Dick's Sporting Goods, and it was in the $800 range (we got it on sale.) Before getting it, I also had only used Precors at the gym, but the Sole feels the same. LOVE it!

I'm jonesin' for an elliptical SOOOO bad too! I've been keeping an eye on craigslist for a good deal on a used one. You know how people buy those things and never use them. I also am in love with the LiveStrong elliptical, I tried it at the sporting goods store and it is so sturdy and smooth, I loved it. But it's pricey.
