Asking Questions on Mampedia

Hi there,

Does anyone's screen jump around while typing a question on Mamapedia? It does not start to jump right away, but after a bit, the screen where the text is jumps around making it difficult for me to keep typing. I can continue to type but it gets too crazy with all the text jumping from where I started the question to the middle of my point. I have to wrap things up quickly because of this! Haha.... maybe it's a good thing so others will read it. (I won't make my requests long that way.) It never used to do that to me, but it's been over a year now and I am wondering if there's anything to do about it or does Mamapedia do this deliberatley now to make posters keep their requests/concerns from getting too lengthy? Some people however, still have such long posts. I can post a very long response when I am the one answering a question, though.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks for all of your replies! It nice to know Mampedia isn't just picking on me! haha!!

I do have Google Chrome but I seldom log on that way. I think I should though. I keep hearing so many good things about it! (Hey.. it was free to install and I mine as well try it. I've also learned from you guys that it has spell check on it. I'm a pretty good speller, but I make my share of mistakes every now and then. I do have a laptop that I use too. (I don't think my palm is brushing the mouse pad area. However, I will now be more cautious of just where my palms are when I type.) I think it's best to keep responses short so that more people will respond because I know personally that I don't have all that much time to read such LONG requests/questions. However.... there are those times when more detail is necessary to get your point across.
THANKS LADIES!! HAHA!! mY TEXT IS MOVING UP AND DOWN AS I'M TRYING TO WRAP THIS UP... AND MY PALMS ARE NOT ANY WHERE NEAR THE KEYBOARD. THANKS AGAIN!!

Mine does every time. Very frustrating. So I type my lengthy questions/answers in a notepad and then paste it to the text box. Shorter ones I can type in just fine here. Hope mamapedia fixes this issue.

Have you ever noticed all those adverts? Yeah I don't because I have an ad blocker but if you do then that is why. They take forever to load and for some reason this platform pulls you to specific lines when everything loads.

Like if you are editing a question it pulls you to the title line which is why so many titles get nuked when people update.

I only have this happen on my phone or if I am on my work machine thank god. Still it is annoying.

yep seems like once you pass about 300 characters thats when it goes haywire... I get too on both laptops, desktop, and phone. I am pretty plugged in but then I work a lot with the internet part time as a SAHM.

Do you use a labtop? My laptop has one of those touch-pad mouses. If I brush it with my hand, my curser moves to wherever my hand moves to. (did that even make a little bit of sens?) Sometimes I'm typing (on-line, email, Word, whatever) and the palm of my hand will brush the mouse pad. Drives me crazy, but I'm learning to keep my palms raised a bit.
