Find yourself a Moby wrap and keep baby in it all day. It helps so much. You will be able to attend to the four year old and keep baby near you and warm and snuggled in. As you already know they love that feeling of being close.

Good luck

Have you tried the baby sling. SHe might just have alitle seperation anxiety and it keeps your hands free but her near. I still believe in swaddling a fussy baby too if you don't have a sling. I also played easy listening music (B101)quietly in the background. To this day it calms my kids down... and they are 14 and 12 yr old boys. Hope it works out for you.

Hi A.

I also live in the NE part of Phila...I lived her for 37 years...that's my age...and I have a 2 year old boy...believe it or not...my mother is an old school Italian woman and she used to give us Chamomile Tea (warm) in a bottle with a tiny bit of sugar. Then I gave it to my son and he loved it and he was so calm...he obviously grew out of it and now drinks the norm but it helped me at that time

Hope this helps.

I agree with the previous suggestion - try a snuggly - {carry baby on you} I had my baby in a forward facing one - and she never got bored cause it kept her moving, and seeing everything that was going on. You can try warm baths with lavander wash. I know it's tough - it may just be a phase that passes quickly :] XO
