Are There Any Mom Groups Here in SA?

I don't know of any to help you with unfortunately. I have been staying at home with my twin boys since July (they're 21 months now). I haven't found any groups yet, and am interested meeting fellow parents and just talking with grown ups. I'm in the Northwest side of the city, and we have Gymboree's and such, but I would really like more of a Mommy club like you're looking for. Good Luck, and kit. I'll let you know if I find anything.

I just joined, if there aren't any we should start one. I have a 15 month old son, and am also looking into swimming classes. I was thinking the Y should have some.

You can go online to several sites (including this one) to learn about local groups. Just search for San Antonio Moms groups or playgroups.

WHAG has a good MOPs group a friend of mine raves about. www.whag.net or www.mops.org and go to "groups" and search for one near you.

I'm coordinator of a local neighborhood playgroup that meets every Thursday. www.greatnorthwest.org/Playgroups

Also ask around school. I'm sure more than one kindergarten mom has come from a playgroup near by :)

I also was a 4th grade teacher in Northside but I now stay home with my daughter. I have joined "Mom's club" and I love it. They have chaptrs all over the nation and I am a member of the southwest San Antonio chapter (I live by SeaWorld). You may not be in my area but I am sure that there is a chapter in your area. I would jst gogle it for more info. I hope you enjoy you summer, I used to live for them esspecially after TAKS time. Did you class do well? Hope to hear from you.
