There are lots of teachers here, may as well ask it.
I'm questioning some stuff my dd's teacher is doing and just wanted to run it past other teachers. It's nothing awful but I'm assuming there is a piece missing in not privy too, so i thought maybe if i asked on a teacher web site I would get some more insight.
I know there are a few great teachers on mamapedia. Maybe you can point me in the right directions.
thanks.

I think you'd be better off asking the question to the teachers here, unless it's something really personal.
I'm a teacher... message me if you want. Or ask and I will try to help. :0)
I agree with Momma L.
One time I happened on a message board for teachers. I was subbing and thought it would be great to read and glean knowledge and wisdom from their comments. Boy, was I disappointed! The ridiculous nastiness spewing from their mouths was more than a turn-off. It was like watching middle school kids fight with each other. There were misspellings and short-hand writing (kind of like text message writing) and people would start insulting them, screaming about their grammar, certainly not answering the questions, and causing fire storms. And they made their own spelling mistakes while denigrating the others for theirs. I couldn't believe my eyes! PAGES of this stuff!
Perhaps worse was the general attitude on the board of how much they hated their profession and how much they couldn't stand the kids. I felt coming away from that they were pretty much a bunch of losers and I hope my kids never had teachers like THEM!
So, I tell you this to let you know to keep an eye out for stuff like this. You don't want to be asking advice from these kinds of people. They drag society down because they are downers themselves.
I hope you find a teacher site that is nothing like what I have just described!

I'm a high school teacher, and would be happy to help. Also, on cafemom.com there are a few teacher message boards that I like. Good luck!
