L.D.
we just rented a dvd at Blockbuster that had that episode included on it. I am sorry I don't know the "cover" episode but there aren't that many to choose from. good luck
'The Backyardigans' recently had some new episodes to air. One in particular was called 'Cops and Robots'. My son LOVES this episode!! We recorded it on the DVR, and ever since it aired he fell in love with it, and would ask to watch it over and over again. For some strange reason the DVR deleted this episode, even though I specifically made sure I set it not to. By some small miracle does someone out there have a copy of this episode that they can send me?? I did a search for upcoming episodes, and it doesn't have that particular one airing again anytime soon, and my son is having a FIT! I'm pretty desperate at this point. Thanks!
Thanks for the responses ladies. Kate, checked and it's not out on DVD until 5/29/07. :-(

I'm pretty sure Backyardigans is out on DVD, maybe your episode exists already -- you'd probably see the best selection at Toys r us, or even check online.
Lynn,
I don't have a copy either, but you can get season 1 at iTunes to play on a computer or laptop.
I have downloaded a few different shows for when we go on vacation. I play them on my laptop. $2/ea.
Be aware though, you can't burn these to dvd... copyright restrictions. So you can play them on the computer screen, laptop, or you own Apple's iTV.
I don't have that one, but I just wanted to tell you that the same thing happened to us. We normally keep about 5 on the tivo. I accidently deleted "The Yeti" and everyone had a fit (even my husband!!). They do eventually replay them, so you just have to keep an eye out. I KNOW that doesn't help, but it does get better. And, 5/29 isn't THAT far away!
I've been there.

p.s. This is the one show that I love to watch with my son!!! It really is the best show!!
Sorry, I don't have that episode. However, we have had and are having problems with our Direct TV DVR. They've even sent us a new box. Our daughter is 4 so she's just accepted that sometimes shows get "unrecorded".
In any case, if it's a super special show I recommend going back to the old way... record it on a VHS tape.
Good Luck.
