Hi K.! I have alwayed used Action Cleaning. Great friendly, professional, reliable service everytime. Steve has gotten Hawian punch out of my carpet and even the odor of cat urine(that took a couple of times). The number is ###-###-####.
I'm in an apt and wanted to get my carpet cleaned but wanted to do some research on the carpet cleaning companies. Has anyone used this service, who? Was it reasonable? All responses are appreciated.

Hi K.,
We have cleaned carpets both ways, using a service and a rug doctor. It of course is much cheaper to use a rug doctor but, it's a pain to move everything yourself.
I just had my rugs cleaned with Exquisite Carpet Care
###-###-####. They are family owned and out of Shorewood. I do believe they travel. They did an excellent job. I have 3 kids and you can imagine what the carpets look like. I also had a rocking swivel chair that left grease all of my carpet. The got it out without a problem! I just had a family party and they said they couldn't believe the carpets look like new.
They were very reasonable as well. Hope this helps! :)

I've used a variety of carpet services, as well as do-it-yourself machines. The best results were with Stanley Steamer... without question. The only downside is they are also the most expensive service I've used.
I ahve always just rented the carpet cleaner from Home Depot, it is like the Rug doctor or something like that, and it works awesome. It is much cheaper than a service. I think Jewel used to rent them also.

Its not a service, but we just rented a carpet cleaner from Home Depot. It was relatively inexpensive and very easy to use.
I know you asked about services, but wanted to add my $.02 in as well.
Good luck with yur search!
