Yes I have, it was many years ago, and with it I was doing light exercises. J.
For the past week I've been drinking two cups of green tea, one in the morning, one at lunchtime and a cup of chinese dieter's tea right before bedtime, and I've lost 5 pounds. Well, of course with exercising, I'm taking a zumba class twice a week and eating sensibly. Has anyone else had ''success'' with green tea or dieter's tea? Just want to hear success stories to get more excited! Thanks! ;)

I have been drinking the decaf green tea for about a year now, and started drinking to help with all my stress. 43 pounds I have lost!!! It helped me sleep a little better at night, I exercise about 1 hour (walking) a day (not too fast pace either,) and it does curve your appetite and relief stress.
I have had success drinking green tea and having weight loss, but I was exercising 3 times a week with it. Mostly brisk walking and sometimes running. You need to drink 2-4 cups a day to get benefits. I had mine between meals as it inhibits iron absorption initially until your body gets used to it. It takes at least a month to show results. If sometimes if I am feeling like eating junk, I just take green tea and it helps me curb that craving. Another thing that has helped me is gluten free diet. You have to try it for 3-4 weeks. No idea about the dieter's tea.
Well I have not but now I would like to go buy some hearing YOUR success!! I have read that green tea is an awesome weight loss tool but have never been consistent enough with drinking it. Good for you mama!
Be careful with the chinese dieter's tea. Many contain things like senna (natural laxative) and can be harsh on your system. Much of what you are losing is water weight. If you keep up with the exercise and eating right you may find the same effect, but the green tea is a good substitute for caloric beverages, so I'd keep that up.
I drink it a lot but can't say it really helps me lose weight - but I use it as my default at night when I'd much rather be munching a chocolate bar - it helps me fill my tummy and curb my cravings.
Good for you - just remember that 5lbs in a week is NOT sustainable (unless you are obese and have a LOT to lose) and a more realistic goal is 2lbs a week!
Good luck
