So What Happened?

Hi Everyone, Thanks for all the suggestions, I ended up going to Thrift Town yesterday and I really lucked out they had all their clothes 1/2 off, So I stocked up on stuff for my son, There is also a Goodwill in the plaza we went to and my sister got a few nice things, They are a little pricy but so fun to go to. Any more suggestions feel free to reply, Again Thanks for everyone's help!! You are all a blessing!! M. E.

Buffalo Exchange on Guadalupe is fun...but a bit more pricey than your typical thrift store.

There are a few along that stretch of South Congress... Sorry I can't remember the store names. Lots of little wacky stores over there actually. If I remember more, I'll pop in a edit my post.

I really like the Salvation Army Family Store on South Congress (just south of Ben White). Thrift Town is also great on Stassney and Manchaca. There is a Goodwill in the same shopping center which has not impressed me in the past, but last time I was there they had reorganized so I think they finally got the message. On Lamar you have Savers and there is another Goodwill on South Lamar at Manchaca.

M.,

I also like Thrift Town and also Saver's, which is on South Lamar just before Ben White - across from Brodie Oaks. They both have good selections of kids stuff, are fairly well organized and have good prices.

Thrift Town is really good. It's on Manchaca and Stassney. It's got a great selection, it's well organized and the prices are fantastic! There's also another thrift store (maybe Salvation Army) in the same strip center so you get two for one!

Hope this helps!

I like the one BIG one off of I35 near McDonald's and the auto parts store. I also like the one by the HEB and the Bank of America by CVS.
